Very cost effective
The best part of the sentro 22 is that it works perfectly. The downsides are the lack of a row counter and the inability to clamp it down due to the shape of it's rounded bottom. I was able to velcro it down and so far, been able to count rows manually but eventually if I decide to make something precise I will need to purchase an electronic counter for it. Had to return an addi which was manufactured defective with catch points that would split yarns but my sentro does not split my yarns and I am loving it. Also, it came early even though Amazon says it has a late arrival so... don't know what's going on there.

Replace or return.
The gears on this one don't seem to catch and the handle just spins and makes a lot of noise.not sure if it defective or if the product just isn't good quality.

works good til it don't
the machine works great! been using it for about a week now. the downside is after 4-5 rows, it acts like the gears are grinding and i have to fight with the machine to it get it to turn. I have checked that the yarn tension was not the issue, it isn't. The grinding noise just started this week. If you can get over this issue, it is a great tool for making small stuffed animals.

Sentro
So I bought the 22 pin sentro. While I’m not impressed it is still functional. The machine has some spots where the needles likely need sanded down as it’s catching the yarn and shredding it a little bit. It also randomly catches and slows down production which is annoying but I don’t want to go through the return process to get a new one that runs smoother which this one does not do at all. Also for some reason my machine specifically only wants to work with like the thinnest yarn ever. Like the yarn for baby blankets and such.

Very Cheaply Made
I have had two of these now and both of them broke less than a week after purchasing them. The gears in the handle start catching and the machine starts dropping stitches so much I couldn’t even complete a single project after only being able to make too. I should have bought the Addi instead to save myself money in the long run.

My granddaughter loved this product and made a hat the same day she received it in the mail. Great Product!!!

It’s a hit
My niece requested something similar to this, but it didn’t get very good reviews and was approximately the same price. I gave her this on 24 December and she’s already made several items. She’s definitely loving it.

Not worth the price. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas and the handle instantly started slipping. I’m really bummed out that it didn’t work for us, we tried using it anyways, and when it did knit we were able to make a couple things. But I had to deal with the constant slipping. I opened it up, to find that the slipping was caused by poor design and low quality plastic gears. So it didn’t even last the whole project. And we’ve only used it a few times since Christmas. Now there’s no way to use it. And it seems like a manufacturing problem. If you want a 22 pin machine, go with the Addie, don’t waste your time or money with this. I can see how useful a 22 pin machine can be and it’s worth saving up for a good one.

I receded my machine today as stated I was disappointed that when I looked at the machine there was no row counter which I thought was in the discription and also there was no sewing needles, and it was left out in the rain.

Love this little knitting machine, works well, however it is cheap plastic and the bunny ears get in the way of fixing dropped stitches. So I removed them, problem fixed! Hate the plastic, but haven't found a metal one. So it does the job. Perfect for toy making, socks, and other small projects. If you want to make bigger things you need the next size up (48pin).

This broke within 1 week I had it and used it 1 time. The handle skipped on any yarn so was unable to use. The company is not the greatest to work with if you have to return it. Not recommended
