Complete food
A high quality food enriched with necessary proteins, vitamins & minerals all a budgie needs for a staple diet along side fruits & veg etc but getting him to eat it is another thing. I think it tastes ok to. No strong odour. I think the pellet size for a budgie should be a little smaller though.

Good for some budgies, not for others
Got this for my little seed addict, took a few days to switch over but she loves these pellets now! I think it helps they look similar to seeds, tricked her 😉 Smells like dogfood though. Update: have been using these pellets for almost a year now and slowly noticed Pearl's health deteriorating (lethargy, lack of interest in toys etc), decided to switch to Harrisons pellets and she's back to her old self. Be careful using these pellets as some bird's bodies don't seem to handle them very well. My other budgie has been on them for the same amount of time and never had an issue so I wouldn't say these pellets are bad, just not ideal for a bird with a weak immune system! Apparently they're high in sugar.

My budgies love it
I have 2 very fussy budgies who refuse every bit of fresh fruit or veg I offer so I was worried about them having a seed only diet as it is high in fat. I tried adding this into their seed and they ate it straight away.

The main ingredients are fillers.
Like alot of pellets, the main ingredients are fillers , which is not the best for any bird. Price is alot for pellets however it is a decent size bag. Wouldn't buy again due to ingredients.

Possibly good but silly expensive and hard to convince birds used to seeds to start eating it
The price is silly. I bought it when one of my birds was sick - he's fine now. Apparently leads to a healthier life but feeding regular seeds and a mixture of other foods also works well - makes feeding more interesting in any case for birds and owner. As I have 1kg of the stuff, I'm still trying to get my birds to eat this and only one eats it sometimes. Will probably give up and feed it to the wild birds eventually - who will become giants no doubt :)
