Does this work with denon receiver (avr x3100w) with a 3.5mm remote control ir in?

I tried to use it in the 3.5 remote control IR in on my Denon AVRx2000, it did not work.

is this compatible with samsung televisions?

I don’t know I returned it not what I wanted

It will work with your system as far as the (infrared frequency) not the RF frequency as you mentioned. This is an infrared device only. However, the pin out (connections) may not be correct for your system and you must have a driver for this device.
