Great item for keeping your 3d printer filament drier.
So much better than silica beads. Absorbs more moisture and are very difficult to break. I put them in reusable tea bags and pop a couple in a vacuum sealed bag with the filament.

Sooo much better than regular desiccant . Reduced the humidity in my AMS to 10% and stayed there for a month,

Better than dessicants
Ideal for keeping filaments dry either in multi materials units or simply air tight boxes much better than silica dessicants.

Great alternative forb3d printing
These work great, ordered them for 3d printing and drying my filament, had to dry them out last week 40 mins in air fryer dried them out a treat. Probably not as good as their intended purpose but doing the job.

You’ll never buy silica gel again
Solid, industry standard stuff. I’ve no complaints about the product itself, just keep in mind you can’t heat these up in your filament dryer or just leave them out in the sun to dry. Requires way higher temps to recharge, and while I don’t believe they’re toxic to be around, I don’t fancy alumina dust in my oven Also, there’s a printable funnel that fits the container perfectly, makes filling up AMS cartridges way easier. I figure Amazon blocks links, so if you just search up ‘7.5lb activated alumina pouring funnel’ you should find what I use. (Photo isn’t mine, but it’s what you’re buying + the funnel, credit @ it_works)

Works extremely well to keep filament dry. Much dryer than silica beads could do. More hassle to dry in the oven than in the microwave but the better performance is undeniable.

Works great in both my gun Safe and 3D printer. Works just as planned and sucks up the moisture quickly and daily.

What an absolutely superb desiccant! I'm using it in my Bambu Lab AMS and spool holders. Literally within 5-7 minutes the humidity dropped to 20% and within approximately 1 hour, it was down to 10% and stayed there. Also the hygrometers in my spoolholders all show 10% and staying steady (in a vacuum bag). This now is officially my desiccant of choice. Yes... it is quite expensive, but TOTALLY worth it for me.

Im AMS zur Regulierung der Luftfeuchte. Auch damit kann man kein Filament trocknen, aber es hilft dabei, dass Filament trocken zu halten. Viel besser in der Handhabung als das orangene Krümelzeug

Happy I switched from the silica beads. I like that these are larger balls perfect for my 3d printed dessicant holders where silica inconsistent size would allow them to leak
