While the material is noise when walking, I’d say they are warm and water resistant.The fit is good but just a little LOW on hips for me. Worn in 29 degrees with no long Johns and very comfortableI’d like to see the pants 1 inch longer but they certainly work wellFront two zipper pockets nice but small pockets. Room for a money clip and a pack of gum. Make sure to zip em up or stuff will fall out

I wear a 36x30. I bought the 36 waist, since that's what amazon recommended. And they were long, like 36x40 or longer. Knees were at the middle of my shins. (Returned them, obviously)If you're thinking about them, make sure you check other people's reviews for sizing. If you're short, and/or not real skinny, you might have sizing problems.

It worked great and was super warm only reason it didn’t get 5 star is because the button broke and I had to sow a button onto it
