Nitehawk Pop-Up Hunting Camouflage Tent/Hide/Blind - For Photography, Shooting, Bird Watching

For the price this is brilliant. Very easy to put up; it puts itself up out of the bag so stand back and don’t try it at home! It’s a good camo colour and light weight. The openings are great and flexible, with double zips inside and out. It comes with pegs and guy ropes, which you will need as it’s very light. I’m a large middle aged female photographer, and once I’m in (the doorway is quite low) there’s plenty of room for comfy chair, tripod, small table, big lens and me. The only downsides are: the mesh window covers - great that they are provided, but they don’t offer any camouflage really; an opening flap in the roof would be great as it soon fills with flies. Hover flies are tricky to guide out and boy do they buzz! I don’t know how waterproof it is, but will find out today as it was left out in the rain last night! I haven’t tried putting it away, that’s a challenge for later in the year.

Good seller, good product, good value, I haven't used it yet but I think it would be a struggle to get 2 x people inside. However, its a good little photography hide, hope to use it next spring.

Excellent photography tent. Love the camouflage material. It's really roomy could sleep 2 (cosy). I am 5ft 4 and can stand in it. Love the windows and netting to stop the mozzis who love me. Very impressed. Easy to put up. Not sure I will ever get it back in the storage bag again. It sprung open once out of its bag. No instructions included but easy to put up without. Would recommend. I wouldn't call it lightweight to carry though.

Very happy with this tent/hide, having just received, unpacked, erected and then packed it away again without resorting to instructions or YouTube tutorials. Just as well really, as it doesn't come with instructions! Appears to be very well made for the price with some thoughtful little details too. The supplied fibreglass poles are fitted on the inside to prop-up the roof and there's lots of little velcro straps to hold them in situ. I looked at several hides before deciding on this item and I reckon this is very similar to one which is endorsed by a particular wildlife photographer and costs three times as much! The woodland camo design is very good. The sun was out when I first tried it out and it looks like it could get rather humid rather quickly in there. AirCon isn't an option, but all four sides can be opened to varying degrees if there's any breeze to be had. Once inside, there's no daytime silhouette to alert wildlife to your presence, but I'm sure you'd be noticed if it was lit from inside at night! I can't say if this hide would be 100% waterproof, but really don't see it getting wet inside unless you rub the fabric. The supplied tent pegs (8) will doubtless do the job - four for the corners and four for the guy ropes, but I'll probably throw them away and use heavier duty items. The hide has not been used in anger yet, but I don't forsee any issues and I'm looking forward to it.

Hi I bought this to aid in my wildlife photography and have to say it works as you would expect from a pop up portable hide, is light enough to carry for miles on your back/tied to camera bag, it is very easy to erect and take down again, can be tricky to fold down but once you get the hang of it it can be done in about three twists, comes with some handy tent pegs, guy lines, poles to hold up the roof part and some mesh covers for some of the windows, i replaced the mesh with scrim netting as i find this works better for me, not sure if this is the same as everyone elses but my one leaked like a sieve around the stitching holes after about 30 minutes in a light rain shower, water ran down corner poles and down onto ground where i was sitting, i went over all the stitching holes with Stormseal seam sealer and this has helped immensely, showerproof - maybe, waterproof - no way. This will do for quick set ups but i dont think it could be left out for long periods of time as i don't think the materials would stand up to it. Saving my pennies for a tragopan hide.

I looked at a few of these, all were similar, but I decided on this one and im very happy with it, I've spent many hours in it on dry days, and some rainy afternoons. its decent quality and lightweight with shoulder straps so easy to carry, all at a great price. Like anything else, take care of it and it will last. Great firm to deal with too, and quick delivery. A year on and I have to add, I love this hide and it's been one my best buys. I've been out on days when it's poured down, kept dry with no signs of any leaking. It also fits 2 adults with small chairs and a tripod quite comfortably. I even managed to cook in it (safely) using a small camping stove, although i know its not recommended.

Easy to erect but the pegs are no good in soft ground. The sun has changed the colour, it's now more red than green.

Das Nitehawk - Pop-Up-Tarnzelt Kam schneller als wie angekündigt, was mich sehr erfreute. Ich hatte es nun auch mal inzwischen zweimal testen können und gebe mal mein Feedback dazu Pro - Lieferung eher als erwartet (glaube ca. 4 Tage waren es) - Qualität im Preisverhältnis sehr gut - Aufbau erste Fase nur einige Sekunden. Zwei Stangen für Stabilisierung einfügen und Herringe setzen geht auch sehr zügig voran (ca. 2 Minuten) - Herringe sind dabei aber ganz normale . Empfehle wegen Bodenverhältnisse und frischen Wind andere Herringe zu benutzen. Sehe das aber nicht negativ, denn normal können die ausreichen. Wichtiger, die Schlaufen machen ein stabilen Eindruck. Glaube die halten etwas aus - Öffnungen der Fenster über zwei Reißverschlüsse und Moskitonetze zum ankletten dabei. Man kann die Kamera in allen Lagen schön zum Fokus korrigieren - Man kann recht niedrig (Froschperspektive) aus den Fenstern fotografieren. Natürlich auch von oben - Man hat die Möglichkeit aus allen Seiten zu Beobachten und Fotos zu machen - Reißverschlüsse machen ein guten Eindruck zunächst, aber ob wirklich wertig sind, wird sich noch zeigen. - Farbe der Tarnfarben einwandfrei , passt sich der Umgebung schön an - Gewicht für die Größe recht leicht - Abbau war meine große Angst aber geht doch recht einfach nach paar versuchen. Schön ist, nach dem falten lässt es sich gut wieder ohne großes quetschen wieder in die Transporttasche packen Negativ - Trageriemen der Tasche nicht verstellbar und etwas kurz. Machen auch kein stabilen Eindruck. Denke die könnten abreißen, wenn zuviel Spannung aufkommt. Da muss gebastelt werden. Ich hatte es erstmal so per Hand getragen - Nicht ganz Blickdicht aber ein Tarnnetz als Überwurf hilft wenn nötig. Werde es aber noch von innen wohl mit Farbe etwas aussprühen, dann passt schon - Für eine Person hätte tick kleiner sein können, ist also reichlich Platz drinnen. Zu zweit kann man sicher drinnen gut sitzen, aber mit Stühlen und Stativen sowie Zubehör wird dann doch recht eng für Menschen um die 1,85 Meter. Also für zwei, denke tick größer darf es sein. Fazit Für um die 60 Euro ein top Tarnzelt. Aufbau und Abbau ist echt locker. Man spart viel Zeit damit. Die Tiere erscheuen kaum davor, da die Tarnfarben sich der Natur gut anpassen. Es ist nicht wirklich Blickdicht, aber es reicht aus in den meisten Fällen. Bei Regen habe ich es noch nicht getestet. Eine große und eine Kleinere Person haben noch gut Platz darin aber dann nur mit einem Stativ mit Kamera ist das fotografieren ohne größere Behinderungen möglich. Mit zwei geht sicher auch irgendwie, aber ob dann noch Spaß macht ? Ich fotografiere viel Wildlife und diese Tarnzelt ist eine gute Bereicherung. Ja für 60 Euro absolut zu empfehlen. Beim zweiten Versuch habe ich dann auch schon ein Seeadler aus 50 Metern fotografieren können, wie aufregend, mehr geht kaum. Seeadler sind extrem scheu. Ohne dieses Zelt oder sonstige Tarnung wäre es nicht möglich den König der Lüfte so nah zu haben und ich kam hier nur auf 270mm mit der Kamera. Achso eins noch, Der Eingang ist völlig ok.Etwas gebückt kommt man bequem rein. Allerdings da nur einseitig, da Reißverschluss nur in einer Richtung geht was ich aber ok finde. Man muss seine Ausrüstung also etwas überlegt drinnen stellen, damit man richtig reinkommt.

Garbiąc się na 30cm mogę ten namiot używać jeżeli będę siedział na podłodze co jest super,ale kto tak chce? .Dla ludzi o wzroście ok.140cm super. Po kupnie mniejszego krzesła,zdaje egzamin w 80%.

reçu dans les délais - conforme aux photos - hyper facile à installer : on "rame" pour la replier c'est un coup à prendre mais un petit tuto/ schéma (pas encore trouver sur internet on cherche ...) serait le bien venu - j'ai repris la couture du sac car une des sangles "sac à dos" n'était plus prise dans la couture ,décousue sur 3 cm (rien de grave, facile à coudre avec la machine) , on avait vu des commentaires sur la fragilité donc on a fait attention. Points positifs : beaucoup d'ouvertures doubles fermeture éclair très pratiques pour ajuster comme on veux , moustiquaires sur les 3 côtés (sauf porte) à scratch( bruyant ) mais à ouverture modulables et elles peuvent s'enlever entièrement.
