I currently have it paired next to a T. rex skull replica, and together they make a great little dino corner in my office. Yes, like other reviewers have mentioned, you can see the seam where the two halves were joined, especially if you hold it up close and inspect it, but honestly, it’s very faint and doesn’t distract from the overall look at all. From any reasonable viewing distance, it looks like a solid piece. For the price, it’s a really fun collectible or conversation piece. It could also work great as a paperweight or even a prop if you’re into cosplay or decorating themed rooms. Well worth it in my opinion.

this is a fantastic showpiece, particularly if you're a die-hard jurassic park fan like myself! it is CONSIDERABLY better than the other versions being sold which are just solid amber-colored globes with only a 2D/flat image of a mosquito inside.. unlike those lame versions, this one contains a large mosquito body viewable from almost every angle. VERY creatively done! i say "almost", because there ARE some angles where the mosquito appears cut-off (see photos). seems to just be an optical quirk resulting from the creation process, but it was enough to bug me since this cut-off portion was very apparent in the location where i hoped to have it displayed. as such, i had to return it :( my advice? give it a try for yourself over all of the other crap versions being sold, and see if such a thing bothers you or not! i think a good majority of folks would be rather impressed with it

I have to say, for the price this was a good buy. My son is really into dinosaurs and fossil and stuff. He thought this was one of the coolest things he has received. It is good quality, bigger than I expected, and the mosquito inside was a very good size too. Not just one of those fack images places in resin. I would recommend this to make any fossil lover happy.

I bought this a long with the stand for my BF for Christmas! He's a major Jurassic Park fan and loved it. His favorite part is that the bug is real and not some 3d etched fake mosquitoe. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I love this thing, I have already given 4 as gifts. One of which was a wedding gift. Any Jurassic park fan will love to have this. I don't have a box shot, but the box it comes in also looks great. I was looking a couple different version of this on amazon, the reason why this one was the winner was because it actually has a model of a bug in it. I believe the others are photos of the bug not a actual figure in there. CON - The only con is you can see in the first photo there is a line where it looks like they had to attach 2 pieces to complete the figure, you can really see it when you hold it at certain angles. It's not a total buzz kill, because to be honest, so many people have thought that its a actual bug in there. Its great!

J’ai craqué pour ce « faux fossile » façon Jurassic Park, et je dois dire que je ne suis pas déçu. Très belle qualité de finition, l’objet est lourd, bien stable, et vraiment esthétique, surtout quand on le place sous le bon éclairage. Le moustique est immense ! Impressionnant à voir de près (et heureusement que ce genre de bestiole n'a pas survécu 😅). On remarque, selon la lumière, une fine ligne qui trahit un coulage en deux temps de la résine, mais rien de gênant à mes yeux. Le rendu reste top.
