There are cheaper tubs on Amazon that do the same exact thing. This tub does not add any extra benefit vs another “polar tub”. We paid just under $90 for this one, and I found another with similar reviews at $45 and they’re made of the same material with the same functions. One adult used this daily for 3 weeks before the blow up top ring burst. The top ring no longer holds air and the hole is too large to patch. The description stated it was suitable for outdoor use, and that’s where it has been, it received regular cleaning and maintenance. We took great care of it. We talked our neighbors into buying the same tub, and their ring burst after the first clean/refill. they kept their tub indoors. I’m not sure environment was a factor, but the tub is not worth the money with cheaper options out there. My kids have blow up pool toys that have weathered the elements longer and are more durable. You’ll have better luck spending either less money for similar quality. Or more money on something more durable. Editing to add: The company reached out very quickly after my original disappointed review, which was unexpected but welcomed. They emailed us offering a refund or a new tub! We chose the new tub as we enjoy the product and functionality. We’re hopeful it’ll hold up. Regardless of the outcome, with customer service like this, the price becomes well worth it! Performance-wise, it held ice for about an hour in direct sun on a hot day, and overnight, the ground temperature effectively cooled the water. For upkeep, I highly recommend chlorinating the water (about a tablespoon of chlorine) and using a litmus test to monitor the chlorine PPM. Got this tub as a Father's Day gift. As far as the cons, the cover is almost useless. Just a little rain and it is inside the tub. The Ice Pack that came with the tub tore open on the second use. The thermometer I received with my tub will not read any temp lower than 65-ish degrees, no matter how long I leave it in ice water. The biggest Pro, hands down, is the ease of setup and tear down. It literally takes minutes. It's lightweight and definitely portable. It doesn't really get "Hot", even in 95° weather it stays cool. Not cold, but cool enough to use some ice to get it where you want it fairly quickly. All in all, the tub is not bad, but it is unfortunate that the closest competitor is $50 cheaper and it doesn't seem like your getting a much better product.

I bought this after trying a friend’s. The fit is comfortable, it is sturdy so far and I like the simplicity and solid feel when set up and filled. The big important problem is the plastic fumes. First, after watching a video review, I realize I did not receive the thermometer, and the extendable draining tube is only perhaps 2 feet long, not 5 or 6 as in the review. Which meant I couldn’t drain it how I’d planned. These are minor details, although I would like the thermometer and longer tube. My biggest concern is the fumes and off-gassing from the plastic, which was so noxious that it made it hard to breathe around it. I washed it, I’ve allowed some time for it to dissipate, to no avail. I had a really enjoyable first dip except for the very strong plastic odor. Then the smell was on my body to a really strong degree, (even the pet wouldn’t come near me) until I showered. Which isn’t really the point after a cold tub to shower. I considered that a cold shower to soap off was possible but the whole picture just doesn’t seem the point. The purpose of the cold therapy is for health and recovery. The toxicity of plastic compounds, VOC’s, hormone disrupters, being absorbed through the skin is a big health concern, and I like and need to be kinder to my liver and body than that. So I’m going to try to off/out gas the plastic fumes, but if it persists, I will (sadly) be returning it.

Updated - Mike from the company worked with me to get a replacement shipped quickly. I must say the company stands behind the product and will work to correct any issues that arise. Thanks again to Mike. I updated to four stars. I am still not sure how long the replacement will hold air. Original - The product has plenty of space and I would imagine anyone under 6'3" would be fine sitting in this tub. Very easy to set up and only takes about 15 minutes. However, the parts begin to fail with use. I have used the tub twice at this point and the inflatable ring no longer holds air. I have attached a video of me attempting to pump more air inside, unsuccessfully. Also, the water bladder that was included leaked after the first use (I have a video but you can only attach one). I am currently working with Mike from the company and he is helping me solve the issue. I would love to update my review if we can get this sorted.
