Q: Can I plug camera into printer by usb?

Both units have usb ports however you would have to get cable. I usually take memory card from camera and put in printer, to print pictures.

Hello, This just prints a photo not an ID card. It can print a variety of sizes though. You can find the sizes here. thanks, Justin

Q: What cartridge is needed to replace the paper and ink?

The Canon KP-108 or RP-108 will both work with this printer. I would not recommend the knock-offs, we have tried them and they don't work as well. The actual Canon branded ones are much better quality.
