I was using earth mama ointment but it wasn’t enough to mitigate my newborns diaper rash, especially at the rate she was soiling her diapers. The rash was getting really bad and this zincoxide based cream healed her overnight! There is a palpable difference in the protective layer that stays vs the ointment which absorbs too quickly. Maybe it is used error and I should only use the ointment as preventative.
