Good, easy setup

I use this indoors as it was honestly a cheap POE switch that I could back-haul with fiber to my network core. I power a bunch of outdoor poe cameras and wanted to not loose my whole network core to lightning. It has POE++ which is nice for the big poe devices, it sadly is not 10g sfp which I feel is a slight miss on 16 port switch. Even with poe cameras normally using 100mbps thats still 1.6gbps, which is more than the single sfp can provide. As this is not managed there is no LAG/LACP so still no possible to push above a gig. Mounting is nice and easy you have all the mounts you need to install it literally any place.

Bought the 11 port version. You can get 3 ethernet cables through the openings - if you passed non-terminated cables through and then terminated them to be permanently stuck in the case you could get maybe 9. But, you can't get the power cable through without drilling the plastic. Low quality, terrible design, not fit for purpose, no waterproof gaskets, no way to get all the cables in... Ridiculous.

We have owned a few switches from this brand for various outdoor cameras in our yard. All of the others had a large opening at the bottom for cables to enter. This one has three round holes. And here's the dumb part - the power cable does NOT fit through any of the holes! Very silly design!!!

I needed 1 POE ++ / BT for a device and instead of paying for a $60 POE BT poe injector, I bought this... This works great! It's a dumb switch, so it doesnt pass VLANs. But it works.

Was able to connect 8 cameras to one fiber line which goes to my main switch. Way easier than connecting all 8 cams to the main switch and prevents all my electronics being fried by lightning.

We setup a group of security cameras inside of a underground garage, easy to mount and cables get organized inside no exposed to weather.

It is 100 procent not for outdoor.
