I've had the pink ones twice and this is the first time ordering the yellow ones. They grow very quickly and are fascinating to watch! They taste lovely and would be great if you have kids.

Tried these with a different company, didn't work, however this company does work, 4 days in ! And wow, coming along nicely, dead easy to do, water twice a day, very happy indeed!!

It's great to watch the mushrooms growing but I don't think it's worth it in the long run to buy these as the yield isn't that good to warrant the cost. Lovely idea and glad I tried it but I wouldn't buy more. Fantastic idea for kids though so they can see food growing and then harvest their crop and eat it. These do grow quickly too.

I enjoyed my mushi box , I got mine during the heat of summer which made it difficult for the mushies but got one really strong bushel , and when the weather cooled off got another , the second not as strong as the fist one but still good . This is a wonderful way to learn about fungi, and to eat some too..

I ordered an oyster mushroom growing kit for my 8 year old (mushroom loving) son for Xmas. I just wanted to say how amazing it has been! We have had the biggest crops of delicious mushrooms and he is delighted! Once they get going, they grow really fast - literally overnight! I am going to order another one so our fresh mushroom harvest can continue. A brilliant idea for adults and kids (who maybe arent' that keen on mushrooms??!!)

My first order failed to fruit and when I contacted Merryhill Mushrooms they sent me a replacement straight away. This one fruited very quickly. The mushrooms tasted great and it was fun to watch them grow, just a pity that you don't get more fruit from each box but that can't be helped

No mushroom has ever appeared despite the box being sprayed twice every day. Deeply disappointed, would never buy again and dont recommend them. Cant rate flavour as all I've got is a cardboard box full of mulch. Value for money expensive box of mulch. Ease of growing well still trying weeks later. Was a big flop in my house!!
