Really Useful Box Plastic Storage 84 Litre Recycled Solid Black

Great box as usual and the largest like this really useful boxes are what they say they are.

These boxes are a good size, stack well and are strong. What more could I ask?

Henry vacuum cleaner fits in without having to unscrew the vacuum hose. There's also loads of space for all the vacuum cleaner tools and spare dust bags, etc. The lid secures easily enough with space above the cable winding knob. It's a similar height, may be slightly wider and probably around 50% longer than the now dilapidated cardboard box that Henry came in. It seems robust enough and if treated well then I'd expect it to last as long as Henry.

Good strong big box ideal for storing stuff.

This is my 3rd 84 litre container that i have purchased,i have now got 2 clear containers and this black one. The black container arrived and was delivered 2 hours earlier than expected. It came in a big cardboard box and it was in the same condition as it shows in the picture. I’m really happy with my purchase and i will be purchasing more of these for definite. I needed the container to store my clothes in as in total i have got 8 big containers and 5 of those are in different colours red and blue which i purchased from a shop in the town centre where i live. I have used my other clear containers to store my dvds as i have got a very large collection of those and i have used the coloured ones to store other things in. I will be using this one to store my private things in as the black container is very discreet and isn’t see through. The price is extremely reasonable for the size of the container. The container has a locked lid on it which is great and alot better it’s easy to open and close when and if you need to. Mine arrived in perfect condition and i am definitely pleased with it. I would definitely recommend purchasing this. It’s big enough inside and outside and definitely big enough to hold alot of items. I will definitely be buying more.

Recently moved house, and knowing that there was a ton of stuff in the garage and workshop to move I invested in several of these black Really Useful boxes of various sizes. All the boxes were consistently good in terms of manufacture. The clip handles consistently clipped with a very firm action. Despite being packed with circular saws, club hammers and the like, the boxes took the strain and never showed any sign of failure, even when stacked several high. A couple of additional factors swayed my purchase too. First of all, all the lids sealed over the lips of the boxes making accidental ingress of water less likely. And secondly, there were holes drilled into the lids and to the boxes which allowed us to seal them all with cable ties which made the boxes far more 'tamper-evident' (particularly given the expensive workshop items stored in them). One thing to bear in mind if you do order them is to consider ordering several smaller ones rather than a single big one, particularly if the contents are going to be weighty: a couple of tools per box is manageable, but having a lot of tools in a larger box makes for a difficult time!

Overall 10/10. Sturdiness-wise, it's not as sturdy as the "virgin" plastic rendition of it- the top lid warps much easier under weight, as does the base. Not much else to say though- it works perfectly fine. I bought from Office Trolley (cheaper than the Amazon Prime version.) I don't know about Prime shipping it, but if you buy from them, it won't arrive with protective external packaging. The courier (Menzies) was very good though, and it arrived without a single scratch, so don't fear that. It did arrive a bit dirty on the inside (no packaging) but the inside was perfectly clean with the spare plastic trimmings from production still there, even. It's a real shame that the recycled version is pricier than the virgin version- I would think using the profits from the virgin plastic to bankroll cheaper recycled plastic versions would be an environmental boon (and given that most people just opt for the transparent version anyway, this makes sense.) Overall, 10/10 product and 10/10 service from Office Trolley/Menzies.

Cet article empilable est vraiment idéal pour le rangement (dans un garage dans le cas présent) de par sa grande contenance et ses parois parallèles (ce qui empêche toutefois de les encastrer lorsqu'ils sont vides). J'en ai pris deux dans un premier temps et si le besoin s'en faisait sentir je reprendrais les mêmes, je ne peux pas mieux dire. Rentrons dans le détail: les dimensions indiquées (Largeur 71cm, Profondeur 44, Hauteur 38) sont les dimensions externes, couvercle et poignées comprises, les dimensions internes que j'ai mesurées étant de (L 63, P 39, H 35) légèrement différentes donc de celles indiquées dans la description (L 60,5 P 37 H 35,5). Cet article étant en plastique dur il est certes susceptible de se casser mais il ne m'apparaît aucunement fragile en utilisation normale, toutefois le couvercle lisse présente une certaine souplesse et je ne me risquerais pas à monter dessus contrairement à ce qu'affirme la description, d'ailleurs en cas d'empilage le bac supérieur prend appui sur les bords du bac inférieur pas sur le couvercle. Le fond aussi est légèrement souple mais il est nervuré et rigidement relié aux parois, par ailleurs les poignées (jaunes...) tiennent juste par des petits picots passant dans des trous percés dans les nervures qui renforcent les côtés, c'est peut-être solide mais prudence en cas de charge lourde, en tout état de cause ce produit est présenté comme bac d'archivage pas de manutention. Enfin, il n'est pas rigoureusement hermétique mais le couvercle à larges rebords maintenu pressé par les poignées lorsqu'elles sont en position relevée met à coup sûr le contenu à l'abri de la pluie. A noter que sur un des cotés figure une échelle graduée de 20 à 70 litres avec un pas de 10 litres, certes la paroi n'est pas transparente mais cela permet toutefois d'avoir une idée, le cas échéant, du volume de remplissage occupé. Les dimensions du colis sont à 1cm près celles des dimensions externes du bac vu que l'emballage est un simple carton, l'ensemble pèse 4,76 kg. Il est à signaler pour finir qu'un des 2 bacs dégageait au déballage une légère odeur de plastique.

La forma è molto curata e la nervatura, cioè le pieghe e le angolature, la rendono molto robusta. Il coperchio ha una pratica chiusura che se si dovesse rompere può essere velocemente sostituita, anche se non saprei se la vendono come ricambio. Possono essere impilate anche fino al soffitto da tanto sono resistenti, senza il pericolo che caschino. Il colore nero protegge il contenuto dalla luce, e la si trova nera, bianca , marrone o trasparente, con maniglie a tono. Ne ho oramai comperate circa una cinquantina, dai 35 litri ai 145 e non mi hanno mai deluso. Il materiale è PP cioè polipropilene e sono made in uk e non hanno minimamente un cattivo odore come altre marche che ho provato. Sono le migliori e non ne troverete mai di migliori.
