Great Power Supply at a great price!
After having a new MSI ATX3.1 power supply blow and take out have my components I decided to try this Red Dragon power supply and I have to say I am beyond impressed. The build quality is excellent and at first I thought the ARGB fan was just a gimmick, but it comes through on the back of my daughters Lian Li 011D case and looks awesome. Also Red Dragon includes a power supply tester and MSI does not, which would have been nice to have. The cables are not the highest quality I have ever seen, they are good and work just fine though. Overall this power supply compares very well to my Corsair RM1000x. While the Corsair has better cables, both power supplies generally are very close on all other features. Both use Japanese CAPs, both are quiet and considering the Red Dragon power supply was considerably cheaper I would have to lean towards the Red Dragon if I ever need another power supply. Really, you can't go wrong with this power supply.

Worth the price. Easy install
Stress tested and no issues raised with it. Fits right into my musetex case with no issue. Came with all of the cables I needed and frankly they didn't feel cheap. The RGB is direct and you have no control over it aside a button that changes the colors and modes. For 80 bucks a psu that has 5 years of warranty. Gotta love it

Works great. good quality.
Works great. Giving 4 stars because of the following issue: I had this delivered to me for my ITX server, but it will not turn on. I asked for a replacement, and they sent one quickly [ good customer service] , but the new one will also not work. It turns out that the main Motherboard cable was bad. The unit itself works perfectly. I have been using it as a server with 3 VMs on a constant load, and the power unit is very silent and works great. I will recommend this brand. Cables are well labeled for easy matching with your motherboard pins. Note: Do make sure all your pins are securely clicked in. Pins are a very tight fit, which is great for long-term durability.

Read if you have NO experience with PC’s
So let me start by saying I’m a mid 20 something’s male, so I have *some* understanding of technology mostly Xbox and PlayStation with some VR. I’ve never owned a “Gaming PC” before my current one. The only “pc work” I’ve done prior to installing this PSU for a new GPU to be installed was pulling old RAM sticks and adding new ones. I didn’t even build this PC myself (ghost gaming sky tech), it’s a prebuilt so I have no experience in PSU swaps or anything. If you just follow the instructions and actually use common sense and your eyes in the mobo/gpu/etc you will find this SUPER SIMPLE!!! I was SO SCARED I’d ruin something. The install was FLAWLESS and booted right up. I am so happy cause this has allowed me to run a WAY BETTER GPU than what came originally in my PC thanks to this PSU, it’s ran now for 2 months only being power cycled once and it hasn’t hiccuped at all. It worked perfectly with my new RTX5060 TI, and works flawlessly with the ASrock b560M motherboard, it was a phenomenal value and the length of cables were perfect for my midsize case. It even includes special connectors for compatibility with the more weird gpu’s and motherboards. I’d buy it again and it has LED lighting which ties into my whole PC theme!

Bought this on July 4 2025 for my new PC build. In January 2026 my graphics card quit working, Radeon RX 7800XT. I sent in my graphics card for warranty service and the manufacturer, XFX, couldn't find any fault with my graphics card but replaced it anyway for peace of mind. I received the replacement graphics card and it didn't work. I had an older 850 watt power supply and I installed it into my PC and this took care of the problem. I followed the link provided by Amazon on the order page for product support and filled out the form. The order page said the seller was the Redragon Store. I got a reply the next day telling me they are a distributer and they didn't provide warranty service and I would need to contact the seller or the manufacturer. I went back into my orders and verified who the seller was and replied to them telling them how I got to them and they replied that they don't sell the model I purchased. I went to the Redragon Store and clicked on the model I purchased and when the page opened up for this power supply it said u[ at the top that I had purchased this in July. I have went to the manufacturers website and filled out their form but have yet to hear from them. Bottom line I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything from the Redragon Store since they will deny they sell the product you purchased. Update: I reached out to Amazon customer service and they took care of me.

6 month review
Have been in heavy use for at least 6 months now. Still working flawlessly and the rgb ring is a nice touch. Fully modular is always a big W. Easy install, silent to my knowledge as my gpu is quite loud. Overall very happy
