I'm loving it!
Okay, I'll be honest. I don't have a wall tent (yet) but I have always wanted one of these stoves, and I am not disappointed in the least with this stove. This little stove is very well made and I'm impressed with it. I have it set up on our back porch right now. I'm thinking this will go ahead and push me over the edge and into getting the tent I want to use this stove with. This stove came well packed. There were no instructions but none are needed. The folding legs don't hold that tight but that's an easy fix. Just install the screws from the inside of the stove instead of from the bottom. They are long enough, and then just get the correct size nuts to secure the legs on. I know it seems counter intuitive, but trust me, it's going to work a lot better and last longer than using high temperature loctite.Using the stove is super easy. It heats up quick and radiates heat pretty well for stainless steel. It hasn't warped in the least. Not even the ash grate. Just don't throw a bunch of wood into it and get it too hot and it isn't going to warp.It doesn't smoke at all. Yes, some smoke comes out when you put wood in but so does every other wood burning stove. I like the color the stove is turning as I use it. It has a nice iridescence to it now. There also was no odd smell when I first started using it. That isn't always the case with stoves but I still recommend you use it a couple of times outside to burn off any oils.Cooking on it would be hard, but not impossible. It's just small and would be hard to regulate the temperature.Overall I'm really impressed with the quality of this stove. There are a couple of things to note. I wish it came with a damper, although I'm not sure it really needs one and not having one also prevents any accidents in closing it off and smoking yourself out, and I do wish it had a good screen spark arrestor. Cleaning out the ash tray does require a screw driver, but that's not a big deal to me and hasn't been an issue. I think this is a well made and functional stove and I recommend it.

Brings the words Hot Tent to camping. In a good way.
I’ve used this stove twice in night time temperature below 25F. As you can see in the video parts of the stove and first two sections of the pipe will glow red with heat. So make sure you place the stove far enough from your tent walls. The first time I used the stove was in a 2 1/2 man tent. I applied some heat reflective sheets (they come with adhesive and a peel off sheet on the back”. The shielding worked perfect. However the small holes on the top piece of stove pipe got plugged up from the soot. I don’t use that section of pipe now. Instead I use 4 segments of pipe from another stove and extend the height. Just make sure you use guide lines to stabilize the high chimney. The stove performs a complete burn. Two nights left almost NO ash. The front adjustable vent works perfect. And adding the heat powered chimney fan blows warm air across the 10x12 tent. You will have to mind the fire as the burn time with the vent fully open is only an hour. Two Down sides.1. The folding legs will not stay in place. The bolt holding the leg in place loosens from the heat. I fixed it by using some Lock Tight on the bolt and putting in a rivet (see photo) so the legs will not spin anymore.2. The top opening lid would do well to lock in place. As designed it will slide off when moving. (I stepped on mind when it fell off while carrying and I bent it, thus the none matching lid, hopefully I can get another lid that fits properly and I’ll rig a wire to hold it in place.Good purchase at a really good price.

Leaks!
Heats up my 13'x13' yurt tent beautiful!! Its 8.2' tall! The downfall: you have to buy a 2.36" damper seperately for this stove does not come with one. Also, once you close the damper, it pours smoke so fast from the front door very quickly! I had to run and grab a gallon of water, pull of the top circle plate, and pour the gallon of water in! My tent was so smokey for an hour, you cut a doughnut in the air! Use this on your porch or patio, or in a screen house only! I gotta buy a new one now.Oh, and the inside rack plate that comes out, folded in half from the heat and warped unfixable!Other then that, works good.

Not well designed. Many problems. I'd recommend avoiding this.
I know many of these camping stoves are not great, but there have to be ones that are at least reasonably good, and this is not one of those. The legs, as others have mentioned, are loose. And the part where the wood goes is ridiculously small, as the bottom area (the "oven" part) takes up much of the stove volume. Also, there is a tray with holes in it that lets ashes drop under the tray, but the space that the ashes goes into is set below the stove door, so you can't easily remove the ashes, which is really annoying at best, and makes it effectively impossible to clean out the ashes while the stove is going. This is not how stoves work, in my experience. And, of course, the weird racks on the top/sides are just awkward. They don't fold flat on the top, and just stick out at an angle. Or, you keep them open on the sides, which isn't terrible, but they are pretty light-weight, and won't hold anything really heavy like a full pot of water, and even if it was strong enough to keep a heavier pot up, it will make the stove unstable if you put something heavy on only one side.I have not even tried burning anything in it. It was so disappointing I didn't even want to try. (If I do, and there's anything of note, I'll report back here.)So, yeah, don't get this one, if you want something that works....Key to ratings:***** - well above average - best I’ve seen**** - above average - very good quality*** - average - not bad, not great** - below average - I probably wish I'd gotten something different* - a waste of resources - I wish this had never been made
