Great for stopping card fraud by blocking anyone reading your chip and pin. Checked it worked in a shop and it 100% blocked the chip and pin signal.

This is the second purchase of this type of card protector I have made. They are very useful and protect the data stored on cards from skimming. My cards fit in them easily but the only problem is they don’t fit in the sections of my purse where I would normally put my cards. My previous ones did. This probably my fault for not checking the dimensions carefully and I have just had to reorganise. The moral of the story is check the size carefully, but they are still a good investment.

The sleeve is made of thin foil that makes it difficult to replace the card, particularly while at a check out. It has to be pinched and distorted to get the card back in. If intending to use it a number of times (like contactless shopping) it is easier to leave it out and then replace it when you've finished. But that's reducing the value of having it.
