Cheap no frills cat flap. I use on internal door to allow cats to get outside from the garage allowing me to keep door closed when it gets cold outside. Does the job nicely.

I got this as it was much cheaper than the cat flaps I’ve previously bought. The green and red sliders that control how the cat flap works are very fiddly and it’s not of a guessing game to set them appropriately. But it does work well - although I have had better/more robust versions

I have strong cats and the log on this rather waft door is one sided. My smaller cats in their desperation have managed to push the rather too flexible door to the side and get out. It’s a long story here is abbreviated version. My builders let my breeding Kurilian bobtails out. They are indoor only kitties with lots of access to outside runs. They still have lots of wild determination in them and although they have never shown any stress with not being able to free roam once they all got out ….they lead me a merry dance. I bought these cat flaps to be able to lock them one way. Once in not going out. However they might work for less determined cats but def not mine. I bought a well known branded one and within 2 days had all my wayward girls back in safe & sound. If they had a locking clip each side it would have got 4 stars. Or if you don’t need a locking one it’s great value

Simple to fit, effective cat flap. I bought two: fitted one to the wooden plank internal wall of the understairs cupboard, and the other to the cavity wall from the cupboard to the outside world. I'd not bother with the add-on extensions for going through a cavity wall. I just lined the gap with marine ply, which is cheaper and better at filling the gaps in the inevitably slightly wobbly hole. Moreover, the add-on extensions are only the same size as the hole in the cat flap. For a tunnel the width of a cavity wall you really need a higher hole, otherwise the poor cats would have to wriggle through like worms. This is easy to do if you make the tunnel yourself. I like the way that the magnetic catch keeps the flap closed in a bit of breeze, and the bristle draught excluder then keeps out the worst of the draughts. Not exactly well-insulated, but better than nothing. And the cats are happy.

This cat door is great! It stays shut in the wind thanks to the strong magnetic closure, but is still no problem for the cat. Easy to install. Couldn't find a better one for this price!!

Smart engineering and quality manufacture made this cat door a pleasure to install and use. I put it in the lower panel (1/8" aluminum) of my storm door. It seals against drafts pretty well, and I can't see any obvious points of wear or stress that would lead to future problems. Following the simple directions led to a good outcome. The only minor niggle was sticky movement of the sliding latch, but a couple of minutes with a scalpel, excising some untrimmed molding flash, got it moving smoothly. Some installation tips: 1. When placing the template on your door, use a bubble level across the top of the template. 2. Use a jig saw with the appropriate blade (fine-toothed metal-cutting blade in my case). 3. Cut/file the opening so that the door frame slips in with zero force, so as not to distort the frame and bind the door. 4. When marking the screw hole locations, use a bubble level (again) across the top of the inner frame. 5. Drill the screw holes in the door a little smaller than suggested, 9/64" rather than 3/16"; this snugger fit will ensure that the door remains plumb as you install the screws, assuming that you levelled it as above. 6. Vacuum meticulously afterward: the last thing you want in your feet (or your cat's paws) is sharp metal swarf. Being used to the unmodified screen door for 2+ years, my cat was wary (spooked, actually). After I taped the flap fully open, she gingerly approached and peeked outside. After 15 minutes of lurking, she took her first tentative steps through the door. After going in and out through the propped door many times over the next hour, she still would not nudge the fully closed flap, but when I lifted it halfway, she pushed her head under it and the body followed. Not bad for a couple of hours' work!

Très bon produit. Dans l'ensemble plastiques robustes et de qualité. Le mécanisme de la trappe parait est simple et bien construit. Les instruction de montage sont claires donc installation facile. Dommage que les vis de fixation soient trop courtes; j'ai dû les remplacer par d'autres en ma possession.

Ahora mis gatos pueden salir a su Catio con comodidad y a la hora que quieran. Antes solo cuando la puerta estuviera abierta podían salir.

Got the item super fast easy to install. If you have installed cat doors before , this is a lot easier than the oval shaped doors to install. Weather stripping helps to keep drafts out
