Manga Starter Kit

This has got to be one of the best starter kits for inking I've ever seen. The handle isn't too long, which makes it easier to control and not wobble like some of the flagpole handles I've seen on sale here. And the choice of nibs could not be better; the wee small one is for detail work, the broad fat one is your outlined and the one in the middle - the legendary Gpen which is a variable in meaning it can go from thick to thin strokes in one line. I took one star off for ease of use because they're not easy to use. They take practise, not too much though, to get the kind of Eisner or Manga lines you want to create. The only thing I would change would end up increasing the cost-storage and the option of ink+media to create a killer starter pack. I'm old and have been doing this a while so I've got the storage, but I can see someone starting out, deciding to stop drawing for the day, and wondering what the hell to do with all the wee bits. The lines that come from these nibs alone are what gives it the superpower. There's no sudden dropping of ink, the detail nib is really impressive at delivering a thin tidy line, and none of the sprayed or glitches in the three pages of lunatic scribbles I tested with. Really enjoyed them and so glad I bought them.

This set is awsome, it's small, it dosnt take long getting used to the G pen , the grip is surprisingly good for a one piece plastic pen. The 3 actual nips are amazing, a very clear large, medium and small, with just this set alone and some paper you got yourself a piece of art.

I've tried different map pens, fountain pens and technical pens for sketching in ink , which have all been good but these designed purposefully for drawing and sketching. As a pen, the holder is tactile and feels good to grip on slow or rapid work, the nibs are robust, flexy and hold a lot of ink which is evenly fed to the it's point. Nice starter set, there's a range of nibs included.

*bought for £7.99 some time ago and the handle is one of the best I've had *plastic handle is easy to clean comparing to classing wooden handle has the benefit of coating not cracking after some use as well there is nothing what could corrode so you don't need to deal with rust *handle is just the size I was after and even after longish period of drawing my hand does not cramp *variety of nibs are good to try to see what they can do and they all nicely fit to the handle

All three nibs are great. Easy to change. Love them

I bought this kit because I needed a pen holder that would take both maru and ordinary nibs and the kit was actually cheaper than buying a pen holder alone. I was really pleased with it. I own lots of nibs from various brands but hadn't tried Deleter before so was surprised by what good quality they were and the thoughtful inclusion of their paper to try. This was great value and quality and I recommend it.
