No problems with installation. (Only took me a few minutes) I highly recommend watching a YouTube video on the installation, though. Easier with video directions! Product seems very high quality and so far is working very well at latching the tailgate on my 2018 Suburban.

Stuck closed and no manual release
After a couple months, the latch just stop working. The liftgate on my Yukon is now locked closed, and this latch version apparently doesn’t include a manual release. This basically means I cannot use the rear gate. Anyone have guidance?
