They re durable, and well made.
My grandson is learning about animals in South America and these Piranhas add very nicely to his growing collection. They are solid so they'll sink in water. The fish seem much larger than most of his other south american animals. The scale is wrong but, the detail and look of the fish make the size difference a minor issue.

I was looking for piranhas for my toodlers who were really into a Brazilian folk music about going through the river infested with piranhas. This one was the right price and came with 4 so my kids did not fight over it. Very realistic.

Halloween costume with piranhas
For Wednesday Addams piranha’s scene, it came out perfect!

Too much fun!
As a child I was fascinated with these fish! I have two of them in front of my monitor and two of them on the little shelf next to the sink in my bathroom. Children would like them but probably too small for children who might put them in their mouths. Kids love piranha - these are the kind you can live with when they start begging for real ones in a fish tank!
