Great upgrade over the OEM... this is a quality feeling, heavy light. Super bright! Worked well with my 2023 Husqvarna TE250, used the supplied wire to make it work, both whites are positives on the US versions of the TE's. Sharp looking light!

This is one of the best aftermarket deals you can get for your bike. It is well-made, is easy to install, fits perfectly, and looks good. The two best things about it are that it is so much brighter than the OEM halogen bulb plus it stays cool. It also seems to draw much less current. This system is bright enough to ride at night when it's cooler outside or to get back from a daytime ride that extends past dusk. The other thing you might not think of is that it's bright enough to see right away in heavily shaded woods. This means that your eyes don't have to keep adapting to dim light each time you go from a sunny area into woods. The OEM bulb is too dim for that. This could be a real advantage in some racing situations and a saftey issue for practice/leisure riding. The stock headlight gets very hot without a lot of air flow such as in tight, technical riding, when riding with a front fender tool pouch, or when stopping for a short breather and not shutting off the light or the engine. One of my riding buddy's front lens on his GasGas melted from this a few months ago. The cost of the OEM replacement unit is quite a bit higher than this LED system even though it's not as good! Installation is simple and all hardware, including a rewiring adapter, is included. The stock LED unit's wiring pin postions in the plug are not the same as the Husqvarna TE pin positions but that is easy to remedy. I could have used the supplied adapter to properly align the wires of the female LED plug to match the wires of the bike's male plug but it was easy to remove the pins from the female socket with needle nose pliers and then reinsert them in the correct positions. This results in a cleaner, shorter wire set with only one connector joint instead of two. Either way though, no wires needed to be cut or spliced on either side. This is nice for a cleaner job and also in case you ever want to put back the OEM light such as if you want to sell that bike and put the LED light in a new one. For my 2023 Husky TE the rewiring was as follows from LED to Bike side: Green-->White, White-->Green, Black-->Brown, and Brown-->Blue. The LED instructions show the function of each LED wire color and it's easy to figure out the OEM wire colors even without a wiring schematic: brown is negative because it goes to both bulbs; green is d.r.l. because it goes to the small bulb. The light switch on North American Husqvarnas turns on and off both high and low beam main lights together so the blue and white wire pins could be reversed with no effect but in case you are wondering, the blue Husky wire is for high beam and the white is for low beam. This LED system is a great buy and a nice upgrade. I highly recommend it!
