Great lifting power! Took an entire minute each to remove an old strut and install the new one.

Worked perfectly for what I needed to replace.

The shocks that I installed on my toolbox were awesome. The old ones were wore out and needed replacement. They came in on time easy to install, and now the toolbox lid stays open with no effort on my part it Lift lead of my toolbox all by itself.

The slotted ball stud brackets are not stainless steel and bent under the pressure of the 40lb gas springs. The springs themselves are working normally so far.

Great replacement for the failed hydraulic strut in my Sentry Pistol Safe. Took about 20 minutes to remove the old, failed hydraulic opener and put in the new one. The ends on the new and old struts are different. Just screw off the ends of both and put the Sentry strut ends on the new ones. Works like a charm. Lid opens fully and rapidly again. I put the second strut in the safe in case this one fails like the original did; it will be ready to change out again.

Worked great in my husky truck bed toolbox

I needed to replace the original strut on my Sentry biometric gun safe and purchased this to do so. The quality of this product is good and the installation went well and was fairly easy. There are some decent videos on U Tube to help. Note, you need to save the original strut as it is necessary to remove the end pieces of the new unit and re-use the original pieces that the safe came with as the originals are the correct dimension whereas the new ones are not an exact fit, but this is not a problem as these parts are the correct threads and simply screw on and off. The safe is back to its original operation and again works well. Good product and fairly priced.
