I have many of these and some have split in the closure part. They do the trick, are easy to use, but be aware, the scent of whatever food your storing in it sticks to it.

These are great for reducing the amount of ziplock or disposable plastic bags I use. They are dishwasher safe and will last forever. I try to use glass but sometimes you need flexible bag style containers for leftovers. These are also wonderful for organizing crafts and makeup.
