I already have the Fujifilm XF27mm F/2.8, which is a workhorse of a lens especially for street photography, but decided to try this one out as I do a lot of lens reviews and comparisons for my channel. This lens does not have weather sealing like the Fujifilm model but does make amazing images and the price cannot be beat.

I'm a still photographer using this on a Fujifilm X-T5 and I'm quite happy with it. The autofocus is not instant, but it seems plenty fast to me. Despite being plastic, the construction is solid. I love the clicked aperture ring. The sharpness is on par with any of my Fujifilm lenses. There is definitely some vignetting at f2.8, but I kind of expect that at this price. I've had a few other TTArtisan lenses for Sony and Leica and I've always been amazed at how good they were for the price point.

What’s bad you might ask. The honest reply is what isn’t. Low quality autofocus made it unusable.

Lens works great, small and light weight. My only issue was the quality of the rendering. If color and sharpness are critical, just save up for the Fuji lens. If you just need a lens that quality is secondary, then this is 5 stars. Your mileage may vary.

This is a great lens to have. Good way to expand photography skills. No zoom so you have to physically position yourself for photos everytime. Does have automatic auto focus which is great. I tremendously enjoy using this lens.

This is a lens with character. I recommend it for cameras with a 24MP or 26MP sensor. Maybe not so much for the 40MP sensor of newer Fujifilm cameras.

Works great, great value with good quality for my Fuji XT-50

I love using this lens and the results have been superb. After recent updates to Fuji AF on my camera, the AF with this is just fine.

Actualizacion: Despues de actualizar el firmware el problema seguia, solicite devolucion. Posiblemente vuelva a comprarlo porque opticamente me parecio un buen lente para el precio que tiene. ********************************** En las pruebas que he realizado lo noto poco nitido, las imagenes estan desenfocadas, sospecho que recibi una unidad defectuosa. Actualizare el firmware y hare unas pruebas mas para ver si mejora, de lo contrario se ira de regreso :( PD. Lo he probado con XE1 y XE3 con resultados similares en ambas camaras.

I took this on my latest trip and I was pleasantly surprised with the performance and the quality. This is highly recommended for someone who doesn't want to pay the full price of a Fujifilm first party lense. Although first party has its qualities, this performance just as well. And the image quality is very good.
