Great product that has performed well and easy to use for over 1 year as of this review. Bought for elderly mom with dementia as a reminder for day and time. Large number display that is easy to read with black background. Simple to hang on a wall, or place on tabletop. Easy to adjust functions and understand instructions. Had friends that have bought and liked these as well.

Wonderful for my MIL who lived in independent living and has limited sight. She can glance up and get acclimated to the say and time. It helps with reassuring her about the schedule of activities. Gives her confidence instead of repeatedly asking what day it is. <3

Purchased this Day/Date Clock for a Senior parent who started to lose track of the day & date... thanks to the Covid Lockdown. Very helpful item that looks GREAT. But, anyone would be happy to have this at home, dorm room, office, etc! I selected the black frame, & opted to set up the display w/ the background dark- w/ white letters & numbers for a very easy to see display. Not using the alarm feature, as prefer not to have my Mom moving the frame around to set alarms or to silence them. IMO, best to use just as a Clock & Day-Date Calendar as all controls are on the back & a bit small to adjust for most Senior users. No problems with the unit, has been working fine for 8 months now. Warning: There is no mention of the word DEMENTIA on the outside of the box, however the instruction sheet I received (enclosed inside the box) calls it a Dementia clock. Glad I opened the box before giving it as a gift to my Mom. While it's useful to have Memory/Dementia/Alzheimers in the Amazon "search" for a useful clock, I don't think it needs to be on the product's instruction sheet or packaging. Again, was not on the box, just the instruction sheet. Anyone purchasing it for a person suffering dementia or memory loss should realize that that recipient would likely find the instructions tricky due to their impairment, so be sure to set it up ahead of time or when you give it to them- so they could choose the background display they like best of the choices it offers. Many times though... choices give them anxiety- so perhaps best to experiment w/ the 3 options yourself first- & pick which one you believe they will be able to see the easiest. Very happy with the purchase, & my Mom tells me it is one of her favorite gifts EVER received!

Excellent for my 93 year old mom with increasing dementia. She has thanked me for this each time I visit her and says it contains all the information she needs. She has it next to a digital picture frame that also shows outside temperature. She was getting confused about what day it was or even if it was morning or evening. This has all that very clearly presented. So, I have found this to be helpful for her.

Excellent clock for people with dementia. Highly recommend. Bought this for mom. It helped keep her oriented to time and day and also morning vs night. Wish it could be a little dimmer for night time use.

I bought this clock or a 93 year old parent. It is awesome. The display is large, bright and easy to read. In addition to the time, it displays the date and the general time of day ie. morning, afternoon, evening. I am really glad that I purchased this item.

The quality and brightness of lettering and figures are impressive, and the timepiece has proven to be a well-thought-out gift for an elderly person in the house with dementia. Reading the details of the clock from a distance of 12 to 15 feet is no worry. The settings are easy to adjust and are quite practical. Though it costs a bit more being an imported piece, I wonder if I can get one more similar clock like this with a minimum 15" display from Kastwave.

Très bel horloge et facile à programmer. Les instructions ne sont qu'en anglais mais facile à comprendre à mon avis. J'aime bien l'idée de pouvoir opter pour 3 affichages. Mon frère préfère le model avec cadran car plus facile de différencier l'heure (compte tenu de l'image du cadran) de la journée et de la date. Plusieurs choix de langues. Je ne sais pas combien de temps la programmation reste active en cas de panne de courant, nous verrons en temps et lieu. Très bon achat que je recommande.
