MARK LEVINSON No. 5909 - High Resolution Wireless Headphones with Active Noise Cancellation (Red)

Top of the line wireless headphones. I have Ldac capable gear and these are one of only a handfull that have the hires codec. Good battery, fast charging, heavy but comfortable for hours. Excellent sound quality. Great noise cancelling modes. Good app. Buttons could be better, but I paid half the £999 rrp. Minor gripe, no other real problems. Carry kit and a bunch of cables to suit your wired listening should you need them. Top notch build quality make these phones worthy of an audition.

Very good build quality. Comfortable for long listening sessions coupled with great noise isolation both passive and active. The unboxing is an experience to behold. You can tell you’re getting a premium product from the packaging alone. The included accessories are first rate and cover practically all and any connection cases even down to an airplane connection adapter it’s that good. I have have the good fortune to own a lot of premium headphones and headsets and this one sits in my top 5 all day long it’s that good. If your budget allows you to get a pair then do so they are that good in my opinion well worth the price.

It's brilliant; I never knew there were more to the songs I listen. When used with the cable, sound quality is like no other. Bluetooth connection drops the quality, naturally, but it is the case for all the Bluetooth headphones anyway.

Not very durable the head band has now falling to bits not very good manufacturing and engineering I would not buy this product again

The quality and design of these headphones are excellent, they are very comfortable and sound quality and clarity is exceptional. The headphones fit my head perfectly with no clamping of the ears which is really good for wearing for long periods of time, be quick and buy these in the Black Friday sales as these are miles better than the run of the mill Sony and others at this price point

Awful. The headphones keep on cutting out when paired with Bluetooth. A few seconds of a track will play and then the music pauses and has to be switched back on again. This happens repeatedly on all three of my tablets. The tablets work normally when streaming to other devices. The headphones work perfectly with a wired connection, but won't operate normally with Bluetooth. I've tried to contact Amazon but the system keeps sending me round in a loop. As yet, I have still not spoken to anyone.

At first hearing the headphones tuck all the boxes. The clarity of sound is amazing. It’s almost like being there, in the hall. There is a perceptible accuracy of sound from all instruments. Was it worth all that extra money? I would say so.

Excellent seller. Six months after purchase I had an issue with the headphones and they promptly sent a replacement. Very happy customer.

Ich liebe hochwertige Kopfhörer und besitze auch schon einige hochpreisige Over Ears, wie den B&O H100, T&A Solitaire, Focal Bathys etc. Nun dachte ich, der Mark Levinson muss es auch noch sein. Qualitativ ist B&O mein Favorit, klanglich jedoch ist der ML eine Klasse für sich. Ich pendele wenig und nutze daher meine Kopfhörer eher zuhause, im Urlaub oder auch mal in einem Café etc. Das Noise Cancelling ist von daher bei allen Produkten für mich völlig ausreichend bis gut. Für mich müssen Kopfhörer authentisch klingen. Bässe , Höhen und Mitten, aber auch detailreiche Wiedergaben sind hier superb!!! Der Tragekomfort ist mega! Normal trage ich Kopfhörer beim Hören jeden Tag so ca. 1 1/2 Stunden. Die App ist übersichtlich aufgebaut und bietet eine gute bis sehr gute Abstimmung. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und die Ohrpolster lassen sich austauschen. Die Bedienung erfolgt über Tasten, so dass man eine gute Haptik hat. Das ist bei anderen Herstellern, die mittlerweile nur noch auf Touch setzen, leider nicht der Fall. Über die Akkuleistung kann ich leider nicht sehr viel sagen, da ich hier die Grenzen noch nicht ausgetestet habe. Ein absoluter High End Kopfhörer im Wireless Bereich, den ich empfehlen kann :-)

Leider mangelt es diesem Kopfhörer an Subbass und die oberen Mitteltöne (rund um 3 kHz) sind für mich zu anstrengend. Die Frequenzkurve ist an harman angelehnt und der Boost bei 3 kHz ist unüberhörbar. Für meine Ohren taugt das leider nicht.

Very disappointing. Very poor value for money. PROS: 1. Excellent sound 2. Excellent noise cancellation, including no wind while biking CONS: 3. Painful over right ear after 1-2 hours. Flipping headphones (L over R ear and R over L ear results in less pain) 4. Poor Bluetooth connectivity = does not immediately connect to source device, requiring frequent re-pairing 5. Previous track function (3 presses) does not work 6. Off head sensor does not work (even when activated via app) 7. App does not work: does not remember previous settings. 8. More than 3 weeks for refund, after printing label to return. CONCLUSION: returned.
