Great pattern. I used it to make a cloak for my wedding. It was beautifully full.

I wanted a better cape for Halloweens to come - or a bit of cosplay. Easy to trace, easy to assemble. I'm a total newbie so the fact it came together so well was great!

Brilliant pattern to work from with clear step by step instructions and sectioned pieces. Easy for a beginner to follow as it takes you through everything from start to finish and suggests materials which are suitable to the pattern. I would suggest adding a trim to this to help the cloak stand out or use rustic colours for authenticity.

American instructions but otherwise easy to use.

You need a awful lot of material, the instructions are very basic. But so impressed. This is for my son for Christmas who has autism and loves to dress up. He asked for the colours.

I bought this for my daughter as a beginners sewing project. She really likes the patterns and is making the hooded cape for re-enacting the american civil war. I can't comment on recommendation as she has'nt started the project yet.

Ordered this to complete an outfit for a convention. Found the instructions to be clear and simple, even though I haven't made any clothing for a long time. The sizes are very generous.
