1st impressions/update
Only used once but will update. I had a few days growth and it does say 1 to 2 days so I did put it through its paces. Shaved my head dry and it was easy and good. I did need to go over some spots at the back of my head as its thicker but that's normal and around the ears. Only thing was I got razor burn like a really bad rash on the back of my neck. I put post shave cream on but after a day its still red. Maybe I pressed on too much or I'm just over sensitive. Will update after my next couple of shaves. If I keep getting a rash on my neck I'll send it back. I'm used to wet shave my head but never liked the time it took and the shiny look of 1st doing my head. Like some growth. Even looking into Micropigmentation SMP. I've head this product is good for that. Update after using a few times now, I find that I'm not getting a rash if I don't shave too low on my neck and go light, letting the shaver do it's thing. Would recommend. As I said I'm going to get Smp Soon and I'm hoping this shaver isn't overkill, meaning I need some stubble to work well with the head tattoo. It is a close shave, almost like a wet shave. UPDATE 7 months on. Still great shaver, only thing is cleaning the blades fully out, rinsing with just water and banging hair out won't work. You'll need to look up on YouTube a video of someone taking it apart. It looks complicated but it's actually easy. Have 10 mins every few months to strip it all down and clean. It'll run like brand new again. Only 2 springs you could lose that are really small, so I suggested doing this on a table or counter top. Lift the rubber seals and then it'll all be really easy. It's super easy putting it all back together again. After a couple of times you'll get used to it. The amount of hair still clogged up inside the blades was a fair bit. I found the battery wasn't lasting aslong but that's because of all the hair inside it, runs the battery low as its working harder for the blades to spin. I added a drop of oil to the blades afterwards and it cuts clean. Argos are still selling the proper heads to go with these. The manufacturer says every 6 months to change the heads. Will I noticed from then that it wasn't running great so like I said I cleaned it all and it's brilliant again. My head is that smooth after it's like I've wet shaved.

Great head & beard shaver
The Remington RX7 is fast, smooth, and comfortable to use. The 7-head design covers a large area, giving a close shave with no irritation. Battery life is excellent, works well for wet and dry shaving, and is easy to clean. Highly recommended for head shaving & beard.

Another case of "Build Cheap, Sell Twice."
I've owned numerous skull shavers iver the last 6 years. Most of which were cheap Chinese "fake" off-brands. All of which were great but not perfect. Then about 4 years ago, I was gifted a Remington RX5 (thr predecessor to the RX7) for Christmas and which I began using that with absolutely incredible results, flawless reliability and very quickly became my go-to shaver. Sadly, after 4 years, I dropped my beloved RX5 and it smashed and broke. So then I decided to buy the RX7 model, which most reviews and videos I researched on claimed was a "big improvement" over the older RX5. Unfortunately, after three months of use, I can quite honestly say that I feel robbed. The RX7 has MAJOR issues and is now borderline unusable, even though it is regularly maintained, thoroughly cleaned after every use and charged accordingly with correct ampage and power delivery. The machine has simply become completely unusable, as it cuts-off after around 5-10 seconds of use. Even after reviving the device by placing it on-charge with a full battery, removing the shavehead, powering back on and re-attaching, it still errors out and locks up. I've tried deep cleaning the arm itself and even oiling the rotors and blades to try and rectify this issue, but it seems as though either the cheap installed battery has wained in voltage, or the torque gears have some sort of major mechanical flaw which renders the device inoperable after a few months of use. In my personal opinion, and because I don't make the same mistake as I did: If you don't want to burn ÂŁ70 on a design flawed, soon-to-be-broken skull shaver that is utterly inferior to the prior model, buy the VASTLY SUPERIOR Remington RX5 instead. I've just picked up my 2nd RX5, and this useless, overpriced paperweight has now gone in the bin.

Great shave for the larger handed among us
Bought the waterproof version recently as I was fed up of nicking my scalp when wet shaving, I have to say I had reservations as I am not a fan of electric razors for my face but I am honestly very pleased with the product. It provides a very close shave almost as smooth as wet shaving and most importantly for me does not tug or pull at the hair, I barely noticed it. I did use a bit too much pressure the first time using it which gave a little bit of razor rash but second time round I had a perfect bonce with no irritation at all. Being able to shave while showering is a gift too! It is also incredibly easy to clean, just pop the blades off and rinse. Took about a minute to do. The only point I would raise is I imagine for people with smaller hands it may be a bit more difficult as the handle is quite bulky. Other than that, I fully reccomend the razor if you're in the market for one.

I'm bald.
Great bit of kit to keep me smooth. The only issues I've had is the unit not starting....this has resulted in me than cleaning the head and motor to remove the build up of hair. No issues after some minor maintenance.

Comment faire ?
