No stripping, can tighten down without breakage
Great deal, yes, they are just screws but not all are created equal. I have half of one stuck in the wall - another brand - due to inferior material. You can tighten these down without breaking the screw or stripping the head. Excellent product for those small repair jobs!

Just what I wanted
A screw is such a basic commodity that, unless it's grossly defective, there's not a lot to say. I found these perfectly adequate to my job. In particular, the black surface treatment stood up to the ordinary scuffing and bumping of normal insertion - not a chip or bright spot anywhere. When I was looking for these, it seemed easy enough to get them three at a time (for outrageous price), or to get a great price (on quantities of 5,000 or more). It was a lot harder to get just the few dozen I needed at modest price. There might be better bargains out there, but these are perfectly adequate for my project and budget. -- wiredweird

Worked great in MDF
These worked great attaching a wall storage system to the side of my MDF cabinets. Not knowing what was behind the panel, I had to go with short ones, but they snugged up the metal plats just fine and seem to be holding well. Important to pre-drill the hole and don't over tighten. I put them in snug and they seem to be holding and no sign that they will pull out. Screws were as described.

Worked great on plastic dryer covers for outside. Screwed in very well in pressure treated wood.

Just what I needed
These screws were fabulous! I needed some truly black screws to match those that came with a piece of furniture and finding a true black is very hard. Black phosphate (which is more grey) is very easy to find. But a true black is not. These are a true black and they were perfect. Exactly what I needed and in the right gauge and length and the finish looks just like the picture. Very happy.

Good screws, though keep in mind these aren't "true" wood screws
Good screws -- sturdy, good price. However, they're not "true" wood screws. A "real" wood screw has a short section of shank that doesn't have thread on it. That makes it easier to screw together two pieces of wood without the screw pushing them apart. That said, the threadless shank section thing isn't a hard rule, and as long as you know the style of screw that you're getting and what you're going to use it for, there are fine.
