I don't often give five-star reviews, but this product has really been a godsend. In a warm room or in the summer, they may need reviving in cold water a little more than normal. Tip: Don't leave soaking for too long, as they expand, and it may be difficult to get your injection-pen in and out!! The inner cooling section may lose colour or stain (limescale) over time, but this is hidden once you put it together with the cover. Recommended.

Worked way better than I thought. Kept my pen cool even when packed in a motorcycle pannier riding around Spain.

Great to use for travel and easy to use. Soak the inner holder in water so the gel crystals are activated . Insert in the outer pack - it keeps the injectable drugs, insulin , arthritis or weight loss medications cool and safer for travel for at least 8 hours -if needed it can be reactivated by soaking again . It’s available in single pen size or double or triple . Seems durable and safe and means you don’t need a fridge until you arrive at your destination. Good price too and lightweight for travel .

I bought this for my wife, to keep her insulin pens cool while away from home. She said it does a good job, last for a long time, and is easy to use.

As a long time diabetic, I have been using Frio to keep my insulin cool for many years. I also have other diabetic members of my family using this product.

Gratamente sorprendido como este simple estuche puede mantener tus ampoyetas frias por evaporación por tanto tiempo. Obviamente no abuses, no lo dejes directamente en el sol, ni en un lugar demasiado seco para evitar reducir el tiempo de enfriamiento. OJO no enfria como tal, solo mantiene la temperatura adecuada por evaporación de la humedad que capta la parte negra. Es ideal para viajes cortos y en condiciones no tan extremas.

Die Frio-Kühltaache wird in kaltem Wasser eingelegt. Durch Ferdunstungskälte hält die Tasche das Insulin gekühlt, ohne es zu kalt zu machen. Es passen 2 Pens rein. Ich habe diese Tasche auch noch in größer, falls ich zusätzlich noch Insulin-Patronen (für den Urlaub) mitnehmen muss. Für zu heiße Orte oder längere Dauersonneneinstrahlung ist die Frio allerdings nicht geeignet (Sandstrand ohne Schatten in heißen Gegenden z.B.). Ich würde sie mir jederzeit wieder kaufen. Gute Qualität. Meine erste Frio hat gut 5-6 Jahre gehalten. Danach funktioniert sie zwar auch noch, allerdings quellen die Kügelchen im Inneren dann nicht mehr so gut auf, weswegen die Verdunstungskälte reduziert wird. Für ürzere Ausflüge kann man sie aber dann trotzdem noch gut benutzen.

Utilizziamo questa piccola borsa termica per la penna ad insulina di nostra figlia da anni e ci troviamo molto bene. Mantiene in fresco il medicinale e protegge anche dagli urti. Infatti la sacca interna va immersa per alcuni minuti in acqua fredda, così si gonfiano i cristalli che si trovano all'interno, cosa che la rende sia refrigerante che morbida e quindi protettiva. Periodicamente bisogna ripetere il procedimento, altrimenti i cristalli si seccano e perdono di efficacia. La consigliamo vivamente a chi debba utilizzare l'insulina fuori casa o comunque in luoghi particolarmente caldi. Ideale per esempio al mare o in montagna d'estate. Consegna puntuale.

Was machen im Sommer mit dem Insulin PEN. Bisher immer T..Dose mit kühlpack eingepackt. Jetzt geht das anders. Einfach mit Wasser füllen, Insulin PEN rein( es passen auch zwei Plus Nadeln rein). So kann man ohne Sorge einen Tag am Strand verbringen.
