Nice, comfortable shoe that is well made.

This is the second pair of these shoes I have bought. With a rather wide foot and high instep I usually have difficulty finding comfortable shoes.I bought a pair of these about two years ago and have worn them almost constantly ever since. At the time, I found I had to take a UK size nine rather than my usual size eight but even so the shoes were initially a snug fit. However, the soft leather very soon eased to accommodate my feet and soon became, and remain the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They are very light but supportive with nicely cushioned soles and sufficient heel that my 60 year old tendons are not constantly stretched. On board my boat I find them to give excellent grip on the GRP deck surfaces, even when wet with rain or spray. Moving to and from my swinging mooring the shoes have survived repeated plunges into thick loch-side mud and salty seawater needing nothing more than a quick rinse under a running tap to return them to a presentable state, fit for a walk to the shops or pub. Sadly they did not fare quite so well while decorating my daughter's house or anti fouling my boat (although they are still functional just not presentable). It was this that prompted my recent purchase of a second pair. As before, I bought one size larger than my usual, 9 instead of 8. As before they were initially a rather snug fit. And, thankfully, as before, within 2 weeks of gradually walking them in, they have molded to my feet, to become comfortable, snug light and secure.The previous pair were bought from a local chandler. However, I found some difficulty finding them this time round and so was delighted to find them on amazon. Given the quality and durability of the shoes the price is very reasonable. Packaging and delivery were to the usual high Amazon standard. Overall I am delighted with my purchase and would heartily recommend these shoes.

I really like these shoes, very comfortable, look good (in my opinion) and last a long time.

Good product although a tight fitting size 8

I have bought a size 8 before and they were very comfy - so bought another pair size 8 but they have come in slightly smaller so would suggest an 8.5

Great looking deck shoe, very comfortable and a good fit. Works well for longish distance walking as nicely padded. Only issue that stops me giving 5 stars is that the shoes make your feet a bit hot.
