Aidapt Easy Fit Bed Transfer Rail With Straps Design to Help Getting In and Out of Bed

I purchased this for my gran after she had a fall at home. She's very active and independent and absolutely refused to have any sort of permanent fixture put up to aid her in and out of bed. She had a fractured pelvis and was really struggling to get out of bed so I bought this and installed it in her bedroom. She was over the moon!! She said "it's amazing! It's really helpful for pulling myself out of bed!" In a surprised voice as if that was just a handy coincidence and not what it was actually meant for :) after her initial reluctance to have anything permanent fitted, this aid was a great middle ground for her as it is very sturdy once installed, but could also be easily folded away once she recovered. Highly recommended.

This bed rail is very sturdy, easy to assemble and does the job. It can be a bit of a shock to roll into if it's cold, but I haven't fallen out of bed since it was installed, and it's a great aid for support as I get up.

Bar came in really handy for my elderly Grandfather, I would give it 5 stars except the straps it comes with are unnecessarily confusing, and I think the price could be more reasonable than it is.

I bought this bed guard/ transfer aid for my elderly father who has just had a hip replacement. He found it impossible to pull himself upright from the lying position post surgery prior to fitting this guard but he now swears by this appliance and is able to pull up using it but also is able to lie down in a controlled manner instead of flopping backwards. It was a little difficult to fit on your own as it has to go under the mattress and you have to strap it down to the opposite side of the bed. I found the straps a little confusing but once tied down with some force the guard never moves. They also have a pine bed with wooden sides which does make it a little difficult to get to sit correctly under the mattress but with a little perseverance it does an excellent job.

Excellent item and great price - half the price of the company's own website. I used this after having had an emergency Caesarian and it has been a total godsend. Simple to put together and sturdy. The finish isn't perfectly smooth at the joins, but it really doesn't matter, it's not a style item. I've recommended it to fellow mums who have had caesarians and they've all also found it brilliant. Everyone having abdominal surgery should be offered this or at least given the link as a suggestion.

Very robust product. Once strapped in correctly is very secure and does the job extremely well. The instructions for fitting the strap are for a different strap and the suppliers couldn't help with supplying the correct instructions. It's not online either. I contacted the main distributor who didn't call back despite promises. However, once you have a good look at the strap and buckles it seems obvious as to how it's supposed to fit on the bed frame. Despite lack of support I'm pleased with the product and would recommend it.

This is a good product that was bought to enable an older person to a) not fall out of bed and b) lever herself into an upright seating position. It does each of these jobs perfectly and is a real bargain at the price. One thing to know is that if the bed base has a lip between the base and the frame it will not be a snug fit but we made it work. It is better suited to a divan base but can still work ok with springs/slats/frame set ups. It was easy to put together. There is a strap but despite various family members having degrees, we could not make any sense of how it was supposed to work. We used it as a kind of tied rope in the end. Instructions would be good. One down side was that Amazon packaged it in a box half as big as a double wardrobe! It made it very difficult for the older person to receive at delivery. Very strange and unnecessary packaging.

My mum has used this whilst suffering a fractured shoulder. She can easily pull herself up and aids when she lies down. It's easy to fit and for added safety we screwed it to the bed slats. Took 20 minutes if that, so easy to fit

Die Bett-Transferhilfe ist von sehr guter Qualität. Sie ist sehr stabil und unterstützt beim Drehen oder Aufstehen aus dem Bett. Ich kann dies allen weiter empfehlen.

5 etoiles, car c'est conforme au descriptif et franchement bien etudié pour les personnes agées, ça permet de bien se lever et de ne pas tomber la nuit sans pour autant géner! Et le prix est trés abordable.

Perfecto, mi abuela necesitaba algo que le diera seguridad por la noche y además una ayuda para levantase y después de comprar otro modelo diferente y devolverlo, este va perfecto. Es firme y robusto para ayudar a una persona mayor a lebantarse además de servir como tope para que no se caiga de lado. Con el peso del colchón y su buena base es suficiente y no se mueve, no haría falta poner el arnés que trae, aun así lo pusimos pero vamos seguro que mal porque no entendimos como ponerlo porque no viene ninguna instrucción ni orientación.

Meine Schwiegermutter ist total zufrieden. Wir haben es ohne Gurte nur unter die Matratze gelegt und trotz ihrem Leichtgewicht hält es.Die Auflagefläche ist richtig groß und es läßt sich gut fassen.
