Lately, I'd been dealing with some uncomfortable after-meal bloating and indigestion. It wasn't fun! So I decided to try a digestive enzyme supplement, and I found this one from New Roots Herbal. I liked that it was a natural solution and had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I take one with each meal. I haven't noticed a huge difference overnight, but after a few weeks of consistent use, I can definitely say I feel better. The bloating and indigestion seem to be much less frequent, and overall, my digestion feels smoother. I like that this supplement includes Betaine Hydrochloride along with the enzymes. I did some research and apparently it helps break down stomach acid, which can be helpful for some people. And as a bonus, the capsules are vegetarian, which is important to me. Of course, everyone's body is different, so what works for me might not work for everyone. Works well for me. I do not take this daily because it's a bit strong for my digestive track. That being said, it's the best product so far that helps.

These are great at improving digestion. It's a good mix of ingredients that improve and settle digestion. I find when I remember to take these with my meal, that I have less problems. My stomach just feels better and lighter. I have had no bad side effects, no problems with the pills. They are easy to swallow. They are made in Canada.

When it comes to the typical diet choices, particularly in the US, (sorry folks), who can't use this kind of help in breaking down our fats, carbs & proteins. It's good there's supplements that assist with that! However, because there's no listing of ingredients on their Amazon page & my bottle has an extra label covering some of the 'other ingredients' I can't do a complete open review of this one. Also, a heads up for vegans: this product has Pancreatic enzymes from domestic pig as well as ox bile. I'm not a vegan myself but I respect each persons choices and believe in open disclosure by companies for those trying to make informed decisions for their lifestyles & health. The company's name as well as the use of the word vegetable capsules clouds the issue. Perhaps if they choose to list the ingredients before someone buys it, it'll minimize conflicts! That would be a plus. By the way, for those who like the ingredients listed in my pic I'll share that the capsules are small & would be easy to swallow & there is no smell when you open the bottle or go to take a capsule. There you have it!!

Okay, so I have been taking this for a full 30 days, at one tablet a day. I know you are supposed to take them with your meals, but supper has been the only time I remember to take them. The ingredients all check out to be good for the issues listed. Leaky gut is a thing- and with the ingredients included, things should improve. I recommend trying them if you want to fortify your gut. Pretty competitive price, too!

This digestive enzymes contain different ingredients from my other digestive enzymes and I was interested to try it. The recommended serving size is one capsule with meal, up to 4 times daily. The capsule is easy to swallow and no noted aftertaste. I noted no adverse reactions. It is still too recent to speak on the effects, but so far, so good. I like that the ingredients address digestion of fat, protein and carbohydrates.
