Great Mesh Filter
This is the second mesh filter I have purchased for the XL Aeropress, The first lasted for a while but its design let it down, the double mesh was held in a ring that over time detached from it and coffee grounds got caught in-between the mesh, This new one is made as a one piece so will have no similar problems. The taste I think is better than the paper filters because it allows the oil of the coffee to come out giving a richer flavor, super easy to clean and looks like its built to last { unlike the other one } bonus that its endorsed by Aeropress and one thing they know is how to get a decent cup of fresh tasting coffee easily. The price was in infact cheaper than the other one, also brought on this site, so win win all around

Reusable filter
This filter is great, works well with the Aeropress coffee press, and is washable, so will last for ages. I highly recommend it. ☕️

Does not work on aero press.
Filter allows coffee through into your drink, I tried a course grind coffee but the water just pours straight through. Filter does not work.

Works well with the flow control cap
"What should other customers know?" -- Well I'd ignore any review where the reviewer doesn't understand that you need to use these with a flow-control cap or inverted. (There are two kinds of people who brew inverted: those who have had an accident and those who are yet to have an accident. I don't recommend brewing inverted.) That said, these are well-made for using with the Flow Control cap, and fit fine. I don't personally really like the coffee I get with that combination, and I think it's a bit too messy to clean up, so I've gone back to paper filters. But it's a personal choice: if you think you want to try metal-filtered Aeropress with an appropriate method, these are fine.

Needs a bit of care in use.
Does the job as far as removing the need for single-use paper filters goes, but brings with it other issues. Normally when using the Aeropress device, you pop a filter in, lob the ground coffee on top then pour in boiling water. The paper filter and coffee is sufficient to stop the water draining straight through. However, this metal filter, even though fairly fine, is still a lot more open than a paper filter so as soon as you pour the water in, it starts draining through very quickly. The only "official" way to stop this happening is to very quickly insert the plunger, then pull it up a smidge so as to stop the flow. This sort-of works, but you have to hurry as it only takes a few seconds for the water to drain through. The "unofficial" (and definitely not recommended by Aeropress) solution is to assemble the thing upside down - ie stand the inverted plunger on the table, pop the body of the Aeropress device down onto it, put the coffee and hot water in, then assemble the filter and end cap on top of it before deftly turning the whole assembly right-side up while holding your coffee mug over the filter end to catch the run-off. The possibilities for spillage and/or scalding yourself are endless. While it does what it is supposed to do, I think this metal filter is very expensive and quite possibly a bit risky to use. I can't really recommend it.

No more worries about running out of paper filters
Works great if you pair it with a AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap. Without it, it may run too fast, though. But once you have both, it's the ultimate travel companion.

Eu já tinha um, de outra marca, mas esse da Aeropress é ainda melhor! Pra quem a mini ou a go, é o ideal.

Useless to buy because it doesn't work unless you have a paper filter so don't waste your money.

I'm not a big coffee drinker and so I wanted to get something very portable that wasn't a single purpose bulky appliance. Aeropress was the perfect solution. It originally comes with 100 circular paper coffee filters and when you pour your coffee, a lot of pressure was needed to push and strain the coffee through. These metal mesh permanent filters don't need any pushing. Just lightly tap the sides and the coffee just flows through without any grains making it pass the filter. Very fast and efficient. Also, fast and easy to clean. And also, no need to ever buy paper filters.

Good. It’s very thin and one needs to be careful while cleaning or handling it.

Aeropress jest jedną z preferowanych metod parzenia kawy w moim domu - warto zakupić metalowy filtr, nie trzeba się martwić zapasem jednorazówek. Standardowo kończą się akurat jak są najbardziej potrzebne :) polecam!
