Great quality and sturdy little recycling bin. Love Brabantia products as they are so well designed and great quality and value for money. These recycling bins are great (I now own 3)! They do not take up much space on the kitchen worktop. But are very functional and easy to use with the handle and flip up lid. They are made of a very sturdy plastic which is easy to maintain and the lid removes for easy removal of the full bin bag(not included). They also come in a great range of colours to suit most kitchens.

Great little food waste recycling caddy for the kitchen. I used to have a similar council supplied bin but it was much bigger and taking up too much space, so I then bought a fancy looking metal one with a lift off lid which had holes in it and a mesh filter which was always a pain in the butt, because a) I often couldn't open it with one hand and b) fruit flies could get in through the holes in lid so I've had an epidemic of fruit flies this summer because of this other pesky bin, which was also metal and just started rusting all around the rim and lid! Awful design. I finally got rid of it and got this little bin which just opens and closes properly with a nice sealed lid when shut so the flies can't get in. Is a decent size but also being small forces you to empty it more often which stops it getting too smelly! Game changer - wish I'd chucked the other one out months ago! I just use standard kitchen caddy compost bags from the supermarket which are quite big for it but it means you've got plenty of bag to tie off easily once you remove the full bag.

Nice colour and good quality product. Washes and dries well. This size is quite compact so we empty quite frequently in a 2 person household, but the next size up takes up too much space on the worktop as it is long front to back rather than wide. A size in between would have been perfect but they don’t make one currently

This Brabantia bin is a simple, good quality and robust design. I haven't got room for a large bin in my kitchen but this one is a good compromise being a reasonable size that fits on the kitchen counter. I use mine for general kitchen waste but it would also work well as a recycling bin. The bin has a decent carrying handle and well-fitting hinged lid. It is designed to work best with Brabantia's own brand of bin liners and although those are more expensive than supermarket brands, they are definitely great quality. These are strong, have a tie handle, fit snuggly and give the bin a tidy appearance. The bin keeps pretty clean when using the matching bin liners but is also easy to wash and dry if needed. The liners can be got at a reasonable price if you buy in bulk but you can use supermarket brands instead albeit with some loss of quality. This bin is good quality and well-suited to my needs. It's not the cheapest price but it has lasted four years so far with no signs of wear and tear. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Great little waste bin for leaving on the counter top for collecting bits and bobs that need disposing of like teabags, apple cores etc. Also easy to clean

A very tidy little food bin

Used as a kitchen waste caddy. It’s a nice, compact size so as not to take up too much space on the counter top. It’s also neat as the top of the food waste bags can be concealed under the lip of the lid. Very easy to open and close.

As with all Brabantia products, the quality is excellent. This 6L small recycling bin is perfect for sitting on my kitchen worktop, with its stay-open lid and convenient carry handle making it easy to use and move around. It’s compact and practical. Even the colour is lovely. My only negative point is that the bags for this product are quite expensive, especially since you’ll be replacing them regularly when using the bin for food waste.

Thrilled to have found this. I purchased 2, one to hold store plastic bags to repurpose, and one for recycling. The sz is compact. the thinness is what makes it compact to use in my camp park model where storage has to be creative! The lid is easy to flip up, the color neutral enough to fit into any color decor.
