Hei Poa Traditional Monoi Oil (Frangipani)

I had one of those couples massage pamper voucher things for Christmas and we went to a Bannatynes Spa. I had a full body scrub and something something facial bla bla. Anyway. The scent was lovely! Very familiar. Reminder me of holidays and maybe sun tan lotions from my childhood. “What’s the lovely smell?” I asked rather sheepishly. “Elemis Frangipani” came the reply. When we was done I asked about purchasing the scrub she used, but I thought fifty quid was a bit much and an unnecessary expense. However, I loved it. Stayed on my skin for hours. And I was smelling my hands whilst walking around the shops afterwards. I must’ve looked a bit weird. Then I found this stuff. To my nose it smells exactly the same. Delicious scent. It turned up solidified in the bottle but soon turned to oil once left standing in a jug of hot water. I’ve used it as a kind of beard oil, a general hand and body lotion and it’s spot on. Maybe the scent doesn’t linger quite so long but for £15 this is pretty similar(re: exactly the same) to the smell I loved from the Elemis body scrub and about £35 cheaper!

I had already tried the mille fleurs version, so i knew what to expect. I just wanted to try a less flowery fragrance. Even though I liked the other this is just right; similar but with the frangipani scent instead. You need to know the coconut oil has to to be warm to melt, so i just put in a cup of warm water for a couple of mins. I am getting addicted to these oils, softening your skin and leaving behind a wonderful fragrance. They may seem a little pricey for a small bottle but it lasts a while if you only use a bit in the palm of your hand. I think it is used to keep your sun tanned skin supple but I am hoping to keep the wrinkles at bay ha! and so far so good fingers crossed. Would reccomend and will be buying more or trying a different perfume.

Similar scent to a well known expensive product, at a fraction of the price, the only thing I would say is the bottle opening, as I have poured too much out In one go, otherwise leaves skin beauriful

I absolutely adore the fragrance of this oil and great to find it at a reasonable price. Took about 10 days to arrive since it was shipped from France, but worth the wait. I mix it with my own plain body lotions for a bit of luxury and have added a tablespoon to the bath which is heaven. Great skin and hair softener. I used to buy Elemis Frangipani Monoi Oil at twice the price but found this to be just as good. Nails benefit as well massaging the cuticles every night with a tiny bit of oil with condition and nourish. Be aware this oil solidifies at room temperature because of the coconut base, you need to pop it into hot water for a few minutes to melt it!

This is a lovely, thick and luxurious oil. The only problem is that it solidifies if kept in temperatures below 24 degrees C. If you keep your bathroom at that temp. then this is the product for you. Mine on the other hand is not quite so warm and whenever i want to use it i have to stand it in a sink of hot water whilst in the shower to make it turn back into a liquid again. I think the oil is worth it though, it feels great in my skin. I am using it during pregnancy and i havent had any stretch marks yet!

Smells ok, not strong at all, but does not last either. It’s a very small bottle so not really value for money. Wouldn’t buy again.

Smells fabulous and makes my hair so soft and smooth. Love it 😻

This is a solid at room temperature and therefore can’t be used in its intended container. You will have to warm it up thoroughly before use. Very impractical.

This body oil smells like vacation and is completely non toxic!

Arrivato prima del previsto. Olio profumatissimo (Frangipani) si assorbe subito lasciando la pelle morbida e profumata a lungo. Adoro♡♡♡

Das Öl hat eine interessante Konsistenz (im harten Zustand) Einen sehr angenehmen Geschmack Wird bei mir als Bart- und Hautöl verwendet
