Lovely little tool. It fits perfectly in my case, making it an ideal choice for travel. It is very cute and The compact size doesn't compromise its effectiveness. It brushes through my curly hair gently, without any tugging or pulling, which is something I really appreciate. The design is both functional and sleek, making it a great addition to my travel essentials. Overall, it's a must-have for anyone with curly hair who needs a reliable brush on the go.

Works wonders on frizzy tangled hair.

I have learned to never write a review until after using the product for a few months. I have had too many products work great for the first few weeks then fall apart or stop working, after I'd left a glowing review. I've been using this product for about 8 months now. It started out a great product and continues to perform as expected. When I run, my long hair gets hopelessly snarled, even when it's in a long braid. All the swishing back and forth on my back knots it up horribly. I spray some leave in conditioner on it, then use the Tangle Teezer. I don't know how it does it but it works faster and with less pain on getting the knots out than a regular brush. The only reason it is not a 5 star is the lack of a handle. Perhaps having no handle is a part of the reason it works so well, I don't know the mechanics of this brush but it would be nice if there was a handle on this brush. Every time I brush the knots out, I drop the brush at least once. I try to brush over a rug so it won't break if it falls on something hard. Regular brushing, with no knots, it still slips out of my hand sometimes but when you add in the sudden tug of a knot, the brush goes tumbling down. It's annoying sometimes but now I've come to expect it and since it does a great job of removing the knots, I am fine with this small inconvenience. I also haven't looked to see if there is a Tangle Teezer that is not compact. I haven't seen any ads for one whereas the compact version promoted all over the place so if there is a non-compact one, that is my next step.

I'd seen the Tangle Teezer a while back on tv but never gave it another thought until I saw it here on Amazon. I have very long hair, almost to my knees (and I'm 5' 6") and while I don't find using a normal brush difficult, I do often struggle with getting tangles out. It can be painful! I took a punt on the Tangle Teezer, not really knowing if it would be as effective as it claims. But I'm so glad I did! Brushing my hair is so easy and relatively pain free! Most tangles come out with no fuss at all, and no tugging or pulling. It also gives my hair a lovely shine, and doesn't cause a lot of static build up (which I get with normal brushes). The bristles are very flexible and soft on the head - it gives a nice feeling when brushing. I even use it to brush my 3 year old daughter's hair, who hated brushing before but now asks to have a "quickly brush"! :D All in all a good buy, I would recommend it to anyone no matter what hair length, but if you have very long hair like I do it is an absolute must have!

Decided to buy a new hair brush as my old one was difficult to clean and looked gross. My sister recommended a tangle teezer - I can honestly say I will never use another type of hairbrush again!! It is so gentle and leaves my hair soft and free of tangles. I have very long hair so had gotten in a bad habit of brushing very quickly and pulling at any knots, but with this hairbrush it’s quick and painless. Feels lovely on your scalp, and you don’t get any dust or hair stuck in the teeth of the brush (really easy to clean). Review is my own, just wanted to share how good this brush is :)

This hair brush is just amazing! With hair that has been described by hairdressers as 'too long', tangles are a regular occurrence. It got to the stage the stage where brushing my hair would take about 45minutes, using copious amounts of detangling spray. This brush has cut that to between 5 and 10 minutes. I no longer dread and put off brushing my hair, i no longer feel traumatised by emptying my poor broken hair from the hairbrush and even tell randoms about my revolutionary new brush. I have the original one and bought the compact to go on holiday as the thought of post swimming tangles worried me, but I didn't want to risk breaking the spines in my bag. I actually think the compact is better, it fits in the hand better and allows for more precision, making the brushing even easier. It possibly looks better too. I wish I had had this brush as a child! I couldn't recommend it enough.

Having read the overwhelming positive reviews on this tangle teezer, I wanted to get one, since it was the compact style that I always wanted. I saw some on QVC, but not in compact style, so I looked on Amazon knowing that they would surely have it! It was so difficult to choose from the different colors of Tangle Teezers. I finally settled for the Leopard one. It is a bit smaller than I expected, nevertheless it does the job so far. I haven't had to feel pain in brushing it through my long hair, as I did with another tangle teezer that I bought as well to use at home. The compact style is such a very good idea, with a good snug fit, keeping the brush secure and protected. I use this one when I am out and about. It did have a few hair in the brush, noting great to make a fuss about though! I would highly recommend this tangle teezer. Thanks Amazon for stocking them!

È la terza Tangle Teezer che compro! Questa in particolare la regalerò a mia cognata, che si è innamorata di quella di mia figlia... Ho comprato la compact perché mia cognata va spesso in palestra, piscina e in viaggio, quindi è l'ideale perché piccola e con la custodia, può essere portata ovunque! Ma come tutte le Tangle Teezer il pregio migliore è che districa i capelli senza tirarli

This thing is super handy. I have really curly dry hair so when I use other brushes it frizzes really bad and rips my hair out. This little brush combs through my hair easily and detangles it really nicely before I hop in the shower or if I'm prepping to straighten my hair. Thanks Brad Mondo for the recommendation lol

I’ve been a loyal tangle teezer user for over a decade now. This is the only brush that is able to detangle, without any breakage. My only complaint is the durability - the brush is made of two pieces, which aren’t glued together. I dropped it a few times, and now the brush comes apart sometimes when I’m using it. It’s not hard to put together though, just a little annoying. I’ll probably replace it soon.
