Anatomy and Physiology For Dummies, 3rd Edition

This is a great book, especially for those starting to study medicine, physiotherapy, anatomy and the like. As with most 'for Dummies' guides, it cleverly appeals to novices and experts alike, with information presented in word, table, diagram and picture format, ranging from 'Body 101' type stuff to very complex medical explanations. The central section contains 16 full colour pictures of the major systems within the human body, including respiratory, vascular, skeletal, muscular and reproductive - there are 16 in total. The index is comprehensive. Highly recommended - 5*'s

Good book for beginners!

Great for beginners and easier to understand for new learners.

I’ve been using this book since September for my access to midwifery course and it has helped me a lot. Only in the last month have I moved on to Ross & Wilson but I still refer back to this one! It’s black and white so not great if you’re a visual learner. The price is fantastic, overall really pleased I bought this book.

I bought this to support my learning in my nursing degree. It helps to breakdown complex concepts into simpler terms. It is a fantastic book, highly recommended.

As medical student i don't advice people to buy the book because it does not have details and lacks very much image i for example muscles of upper limb or lower limb but very simple for people who are interested in not getting deeper into medical field

Great book with a ton of medical information. Anyone that wants to know more about the human body, how it works, how it's built up, how we our body does EVERYTHING, this is a very good choice. It is explained well, so you can understand everything, and if you get the workbook version too, you can study some very interesting stuff. Would recommend!
