This a great replacement hacksaw

I used this to cut down woody shrubs in my garden. It is robust and comfortable in your hand. It might seem trivial but being bright orange is helpful. It is easy to find and easy to see in dark undergrowth.

Good quality. But not spare ones.

Excellent hack saw. Strong, rigid as in doesn't flex when you don't want it to when sawing, comfortable to use. Sensible blade holding mechanism. Tough. Recommended.

This is the cheapest one I found on the Internet well it was before Christmas so I don’t know what the prices are but it’s a top quality product and I would highly recommend

What is a hacksaw, really? Two pins that allow you to hold a hacksaw blade and apply tension to it. They are very simple tools so it is very surprising how many companies stuff this simple design up. Whenever buying new tools as my DIY car and home maintenance skills improve, I always try to buy Bahco. Every tool of theirs I own is well priced, durable and 'Fred-proof' which very little is for very long. This hacksaw is comfortable, well engineered and easy to tension. It makes hacksawing aluminium or steel as easy as it can be; this is all you can ask of a hacksaw frame. Just buy one. There is a reason it is the #1 best selling hacksaw on Amazon. This is a time where it is acceptable and even advisable to be a sheep and follow the crowd. Buy one and it will last you for life, which is nice.

I like Bahco products. This saw is up to their usual high quality. Great grip with hand protection. Straightforward to use and does the job well. Good variety of blades available for a range of purposes. Blade changing easy. A great quality product that performs well.

Great value saw that in my opinion is perfect for the occasional user. It's lightweight and strong, but I do have some doubts about the blade tensioner, which I would have expected to be all metal, but the tightening knob is plastic. Also there is no quick-change. You have to fully undo the tensioner to release the blade and do it all up again with the new blade, so it's slow and hit and miss replacing the blade. All in all though, you can't beat it for the money.

Nachdem mein Metallsägebogen aus den 70ern nun endgültig das zeitliche gesegnet hatte, wurde es Zeit für einen Neuen. Die alte Form neigte beim Sägen schon zum "Kippeln" was die Schnittführung etwas mühsam machte. Also sollte es ein angenehmer Griff sein, auch die zweite Hand sollte hier besser anliegen und somit die Gesamthandhabung komfortabler sein. Diese Wünsche haben sich bei diesem Sägebogen erfüllt. Er liegt gut in den Händen, auch größeres lässt sich einigermaßen ermüdungsfrei bewerkstelligen. Das Blatt lässt sich sauber und gerade spannen,- eine Grundvoraussetzung für ein ordentliches Ergebnis. Fazit: Es geht auch billiger, aber gutes Werkzeug ist auch sein Geld wert, was sich immer im Ergebnis wiederspiegelt. Hier haben sich Zweckmäßigkeit und Ergonomie gut getroffen. Eine klare Empfehlung

Ottimo seghetto manuale, leggero ma resistente e con una buona ergonomia.Semplice e funzionale il sistema di montaggio/smontaggio della lama,tra l’altro arrivata montata al contrario ovvero per avere la dentatura in presa bisognava tirare l’utensile verso se stessi . Comunque davvero un buon prodotto di una marca molto seria !

In my 60+ years I used, bent, broken and thrown away numerous hacksaws. This is the most comfortable hacksaw I've ever had in my hands and beats my old Starrett hands down. My first impressions are that it is quality built, I hope it lasts me a long time.
