I previously owned an ASUS USB-C portable monitor, which worked well until it eventually gave out after a few years. This time around, I was looking for something with better specs, higher resolution, and sturdier build quality. This monitor has been a great upgrade. I use it daily for software development and have been really happy with its sharp resolution and bright, vibrant display. I've been using it consistently since December 2024 and take it with me everywhere, as I work remotely full-time. It's lightweight enough that I hardly notice the difference compared to my old ASUS monitor. Unfortunately, around June 2025, the toggle control wheel stopped working, which meant I could no longer access or change any settings. I reached out to customer support, and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. After sending them a quick video showing the issue, they confirmed it was still under warranty and offered to send a replacement as soon as they received the broken unit. I ended up being out of town for the summer and forgot to send it back. When I returned, I contacted support again to explain the situation, and they offered to send me the replacement—and I received it within two days. Really thoughtful and greatly appreciated that they looked out for their customer. Overall, this has been a solid investment—not just for the hardware, but also for the customer support experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality portable monitor.

I use a laptop for college, and am always wishing I had another screen because I usually have a bunch of applications open. At some point it occurred to me that portable monitors might exist so I started researching. After days of research, I stumbled upon UPERFECT’s portable monitors. This one specifically caught my attention because the specs were perfect for my needs, and the price was .. perfect : ) For those who don’t want to read everything: Pros: - Very good looking display - Literally plug an play - Lightweight and durable - 2K 144hz (usb-c 144hz. hdmi 120hz) - Factory colors needed almost no adjustments - Stand is sturdy, easy to adjust screen to any angle - Bright display Cons: - None - Speakers (maybe?) I’ve had an amazing experience using this portable monitor. The case/stand thing is very sturdy and the rubber stubs on the bottom of the monitor make it so I can adjust the angle of the monitor however I choose. I tested both usb-c and the hdmi and both work well. USB-c is the primary connection I use with it since my laptop usb-c supports video out. I was surprised to find out that the refresh rate actually goes up to 144hz when using usb-c. There are also a few extra neat and handy features in the menu. But I haven’t messed around with them too much since I haven’t needed to. The display looks really good with the factory settings, with some very tiny adjustments to the colors. The display is bright. I think it’s limited to around 70% brightness when just plugged into one usb-c port, and can achieve maximum brightness when the second usb-c is plugged into the output. It is definitely the advertised 2K 120hz. I spent a good few hours playing Satisfactory and I am very satisfied by how crisp the display is for gaming. I have mostly used this monitor for schoolwork and it has been incredibly useful for that too. It fits nicely in my laptop bag and hardly adds any weight. This portable monitor feels well made and is very light. It is easy to bring with me wherever I go with my laptop. The speakers; they are decent and get the job done. Not the best though, I would recommend just using headphones connected to your computer/laptop or using the computer speakers. I don’t care for this feature anyway so I don’t really have a problem with it. I have not tried free sync yet, and only messed around with HDR for a little bit. The HDR is pretty good, although I don’t have a reason to use it while doing schoolwork. I also found that having HDR on disables a lot of the monitors settings. A setting I think is cool is that you can change the aspect ratio that the monitor displays. There’s a bunch of options. You can also rotate the display, so if you mounted it to a vesa mount vertically or upside down, you can do that. I also want to mention that UPERFECT support is very helpful and passionate about their customers. I sent them an email asking about using an apple lightning to hdmi adapter with the monitor and they offered to send one to me for free. Overall I am very satisfied with this monitor. I even showed it to some family and friends and they are interested in purchasing one for themselves too. Bought this monitor exactly a year ago (Jan 24, 2025) and it's fared pretty well in terms of brightness and DisplayPort functionality (over USB-C). It's easy Plug n' Play. It's fairly portable, aside from technically needing two cables if you want max brightness (one cable for USB/DP/HDMI, and another USB-C into a wall outlet. Unfortunately, it isn't very color accurate in my opinion. I do digital art (pixel art) as a hobby, and I enjoy watching movies and regular youtube videos like most people. The color on this display just doesn't cut it compared to my laptop's native display. The wierd button/dial combo on the side has become a pain to use, because the button now feels broken, and the dial/lever is very unresponsive. Trying to turn up the brightness is difficult, because the dial/lever somehow interprets upward movement as being downward movement most of the time. This display works properly with my PS5, my windows laptop, and technically also my phone (you just need an external power source like I mentioned earlier.

I’ve been really happy with my Uperfect portable monitor overall. The display looks great with bright colors and good sharpness, and it’s super convenient for adding a second screen to a laptop when traveling or working remotely. I also really like the USB-C connectivity since it makes setup simple with just one cable, and the thin, lightweight design makes it easy to throw in a bag. At one point my original unit stopped working unexpectedly, but Uperfect’s customer support was excellent. They responded quickly and are sending a new one out without much hassle. Thumbs up!

I've been making my tech more portable than ever the last few months, and UPERFECT's Touchscreen OLED Portable Monitor at 14" in 3K 120Hz was the perfect addition to my ecosystem. I have almost every device to experiment with this— tower gaming PC, Steam Deck OLED, XBOX Ally, Nintendo Switch, MacBook... and many others. All of them are supported on this fantastic touchscreen monitor and despite the inside guides saying many of these devices weren't "touch capable", they actually run with full functionality; and way above my expectations! Bonus points is that all the wires required to make this thing run are included— x2 USB-C Monitor Cables, x1 mini HDMI to HDMI and a power brick. The monitor is incredibly light and easy to carry around, coming at a size slightly bigger than a MacBook and with a weight comparable to a smart tablet. The refresh rate is as advertised, even without direct power plugged in—HOWEVER the major caveat being the monitor is dim on bootup and you MUST be using a USB-C slot. With some monitor tinkering, you can still get the screen to be brighter, but I would generally recommend having an AC adapter connected in as well if you are using the monitor for extended sessions. (5+ hours) There is a mini HDMI port available, however given the versatility of USB-C and its exclusive touchscreen functionality through those ports, I find myself rarely using it. The build quality is on top notch and at no point when holding or carrying the monitor do I fear it may crack or snap in transit when going to college/work. As long as you have a USB-C cable that is capable of utilizing a video feed, it's as easy as just plugging it into a device and treating it like any other monitor. There are options to configure brightness, contrast, colors and swapping between the three inputs of HDMI, USB 1 and USB 2. There is a kickstand in the back that can tilt the monitor (landscape only) around 45 degrees and it is stiff! You can tell it was made to withstand pressure and weight. There are functional speakers on this monitor, but it's mediocre... so don't expect heavy bass or popping sound to be coming out of this thing. One small easter egg I noticed— in the bottom area of the monitor of the bezel, there is a SAMSUNG logo if you look really closely. Been using this thing for months and don't have a single complaint— other than, no screen protector is currently available on Amazon for this thing! But truthfully, it might not even need one.

I’ve been extremely impressed with this portable gaming monitor. The display quality is fantastic, paired with its rich vibrant colors. I used it for my PS5 and it exceeded my expectations. Whether I’m gaming or using it as a second screen for work, the performance has been satisfying . It’s super portable and easy to set up, so I just bring it in my bag whenever I need it. Perfect for travel. The customer service team was also professional, and genuinely helpful when I had a question about the monitor. They quickly acknowledged the question, and helped me out, without any hassle. I felt like they actually cared about assisting me. I would absolutely recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a high-quality portable gaming display backed by reliable customer service.

*Edit*: UPERFECT reached out to me to remedy the issue. Even though the monitor was purchased several years ago and is out of warranty, they shipped me the current-iteration of the same model with no charge to me (material or shipping). The new monitor is lighter and after a couple of days of solid use I confirm it works well on a single cable without the intermittent issues I found in the previous model. Kudos to UPERFECT for both addressing my issue in the review and very quickly resolving it. Upgraded from 3 stars to 5, both for the product and for aggressive management of my complaint! --- At the time of purchase, it worked fine. The image brightness and clarity is good. It has always needed two cables, both USB-C for power and either USB-C or mini-HDMI for video; even on laptops that support power and video, it does not work. After a 1-2y or owning it, I often have to cycle or rotate cables between the various USB-C ports for things to work: what works one day may not work the next but may again work after that. I think the monitor is "good enough" but in general I think its reliability is lacking.

The display is bright enough for various lighting conditions and the colors look great. It's become my go-to travel monitor for work and entertainment. Excellent value for what you get.
