We actually got the stainless steel one but, in any case, we love this electric kettle. It works as well as the first day we got it (a few years ago, I believe). Easy to keep clean, quick to heat, attractive appearance.

I purchased this item “New” yet it was received with coffee grinds in it. Unprofessional selling for a quality product. Will be returning due to not receiving for what I paid.

I’ve had this for about 2 months now. I will say do not put in dishwasher! Mine started to peel sadly. I wish I had just gotten the regular stainless steel version like I had before. Otherwise, this brand is the holy grail of coffee presses. Keeps it hot for a while!

Bought this press to replace the failing electric drip coffee maker we keep in our travel trailer. I experimented using it at home & now have decided that I need one for both places! French press coffee is the epitome of the best coffee you will ever drink; there isn't a hint of bitterness or off taste. The procedure is so easy that I now regularly choose to make our coffee at home using this coffee maker more often than not. This one makes about 2 1/2 "large" mugs of coffee or probably close to 4 "regular" sized cups. The whole process only takes about 10 minutes, from boiling the water to brewing in the pot, to the press & pour. The entire device is made of stainless steel, so it is very easy to clean. We now have the BEST tasting coffee in both of our worlds!

Purchased to replace the glass version of a French Press received with an order of ground cacao - as Frieland claims, the brewed beverage does retain heat nicely, and the enamel version I bought looks and feels sturdy. I have not yet tried to clean the unit yet, but I imagine the result will be somewhat messy, a small price to pay for the nice result. I was surprised that the plunger went all the way to contact the lid, but the grounds produced a rich beverage, so I believe the grounds were sufficiently compressed. Totally worth the price for the smooth interior and tight fit of the plunger unit.
