Works great even with a case. Holds my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 even in an Otter case.

Handy carry case for flip phone
I prefer to carry my phone in a case, not in my pocket. When I purchased my Samsung Flip3 about a year ago I had to come up with an idea of how to carry it with me. I liked the simple concept of this carrier. It has securely help the phone and I have had little problem using it for the most part. I did choose to also purchase a slip on hard case to help protect the phone should I drop it. Even with the plastic case on my phone it fits nicely. The reason I only gave 4 stars overall is that Mopaclle is a victim (to me, anyways) of their own over-engineering of the case. The design has a little foot at the bottom of the belt clip that goes under your belt and keeps the case from easily coming off, and it certainly keeps it well attached. The good design also presents an issue to me with arthritis in my hand - it is not easily attached if you are trying to put it on your belt after getting dressed. Real challenge to get it off belt to go thru security scan, but they make you take off belt so you can get it off. The feature does work as intended as I have never been concerned about the holder coming off my belt. The magnetic closure does a good job keeping the flap closed, it is just such a challenge to get on or off, for me at least.
