This was a literal game changer!
This head strap/battery is really nice. Comfy, good reliable adjustment. Battery does infact last a long time. Typically I'll drain the headset some before using the battery so my headset can cycle its battery. The IR light is actually pretty decent. Granted your not gonna get insane night vision with it but it does work pretty well. The headset however doesn't like (I have the meta quest 2 btw) very dark areas but this it light does the job. One thing I do want to talk about is battery life. This thing does extend it by 2 hours easily. It really depends on what your doing but im certain depending on the app your using you can get even longer. This battery does have one advantage over alot of others that isn't really talked about. Fast charging. I'm pretty sure the battery supports this since it doesn't take too long to charge fully. It does balance the headset as well witch makes games that require alot of movement much more comfy to play without the headset feeling heavy or needing adjusted.

Absolute must have accessory
Wow this thing is absolutely phenomenal, the magnetic battery bank that attaches to the back can actually be used as a regular battery Bank to charge your phone and earbuds and other usb-c devices, this thing is so freaking cool. The head strap is incredibly comfortable and the IR abilities make it so that you can play in near total darkness. This thing absolutely rocks, you guys really should sell this thing on eBay, too. ✌️

Great counter balance
Honestly, I purchased this more to counter balance the weight of my Quest 2 headset. In that regard, it works very, very well. Additionally, I can use it for what it was designed for, charging the headset while I use it. It means that if my battery is getting low while I am using it, I don't have to stop what I am doing in order to recharge it. I have not found out how long the battery lasts, but it does the job I needed it for. You can also use it to charge other devices using the USB-C connection.

Great, comfortable strap, good-performing power system
This is a great, comfortable strap with a good-performing power system. The output into the VR headset keeps-up so that the power level of the headset battery doesn't drain until the strap battery reaches its limit. I also enjoy the easy removal and replacement of the battery. Not having to keep your headset with it while charging adds flexibility and security, depending on circumstances. I was disappointed to find that the power system does not have any way to turn it off. It has an automatic shutoff. But, it will not take effect while connected to the headset. When left connected, the headset will eventually drain the strap battery, even while the headset is off. So, that leaves having to disconnect it after every use. It's only a minor inconvenience, but one that keeps nagging me most every day. This could be an isolated bug with mine. Though, it seems more like a design flaw and to be working as intended. This unit was advertised to come with an infrared light. I could tell from one of the photos that it may not be. It just appears to be a white LED. But, regardless of what it is, I was pleasantly surprised with how well it performed at overcoming low-light areas. I even found some success at night without any other light source. Wow! Even certain regular light bulbs don't perform this well.

So far so good
I've had this head strap for about 2-3 months now and it is holding up great. The strap itself is very comfortable and easy to adjust. It does take some time to get it dialed in exactly how you want it but once you get it there, it's great. As for the battery life it has at least doubled my play time and I've had no issues getting a solid 4-5 hours of play time. I've only had it for about 2-3 months but still have yet to notice the battery degrading at all. If you are looking for a head strap without spending a bunch extra, this is the one to get! P.S. I don't ever use it but I have tested it and the blue light is a nice touch for playing in darker areas as it really does help the tracking.

It's well worth the money.
Right out of the box, the head strap does require some minor assembly, however these is only simple 'slide into place' tweaks. Using it felt amazing on my head and neck, specifically the backside, and they tell the truth when they say it balances the weight. The battery life is about 3.5-4 hours and as seen in the preview images the battery can come off magnetically allowing for a hot swap in any moment. There is a little audible beep when you plug in the cable telling you that the system is working properly. Only downside that I have found is that I did not receive the split USB-C cable, which isn't the worst as I have been using my stock Quest 2 charging cable (after having to shave the rubber off one end because it was a tad bit too big) The USB-C cable issue was, as I believe, which this may not be true, to be Amazon's fault since they do "Verified by Transparency" and may have forgot to repack the USB-C cable. All in all, however, this is a head strap that is well worth the money!

Best fitting head strap for the quest 2
This product fitted better than any other head strap that I’ve tried previously. I couldn’t use my add on headphones as they wouldn’t fit with the IR light on the left side. The IR blue light, in theory is a great idea. I just wish that it worked! It didn’t make any difference to my tracking. It states that you can use it in a dark room at night, but I just kept receiving a “lighting is too dark” message in VR which indicates that the “IR light” is nothing but a pretty blue light that drains the battery quite quickly. Shame that I can’t return it, it’s useless to me.

Gracias

Purchased this for my kid to upgrade from the original Quest 2 head strap. It was a bit pricey but it did have decent reviews compared to similar head straps. The head strap itself works well. Attaching was easy and fitment was solid. Overall comfort level is good according to my kid. The battery pack quickly became an issue. It was working good for the first few days with use and recharging like normal. Probably 2-3 hrs for a full charge and lasting about the same in use. Then on the day 3 it was taking about 16 hours to get to a full charge and barely lasting an hour when attached to the head strap for use. I was charging it with a proper charger with the sellers specific specs for charging. I figured the battery pack had become defective and I didn’t necessarily want to return the head strap because my son liked it and there wasn’t a replacement available on Amazon, so I contacted support at the seller/manufacturer site indicated on the insert included in the package contents. I am hoping they can just replace the battery pack now because I figure it will just stop working at all and I will be past my return window. That was 5 days ago and I’ve yet to get a response from them. My Amazon return window is the end of January so if I don’t hear back from the seller with a resolution then I will return it. Overall, it’s a good replacement headstrap but I saw in other buyer reviews that there have been battery pack issues so if you buy this there is a chance you could get a defective battery pack too. I’m just glad it happened within my return window. * Update January 4, 2024. I got in touch with support at KKCOBVR and explained the issue with the battery pack and they are going to send me a replacement battery pack ASAP. Thats good customer service! Bravo!

I bought the KKCOBVR Q2 Pro battery head Strap , But being an adult with a large head ( XL ) it sadly doesnt fit , so i had to send it back. ( even after spinning the strap/spinningnob to the end ) The quality is hard but flexible plastic and can handle a decent bump. So for the price its a good strap. The battery is charged on arrival and its as easy as plug and play.

I have a few different quest headstrap with a battery and some have broken and some batteries haven't lasted as long as the description, but this one is amazing lasts for over 4 hours on one charge way to assemble very comfortable and the infra red light beam works great in a very dark room excellent price for the product would have paid more as it is well worth the money so in theory you can get at least 6 hours of play it movies from the headstrap and quest battery combined
