I doubt they are ajwa.
I've had genuine ajwa dates from Saudi. They have a unique and distinct flavour and look like they have striations across the skin. They taste caramel slightly. Unfortunately I cannot say that these give me the same feel and cannot agree that these are ajwa dates based on my real experience.
