TWSBI Eco Fountain Pen White F Piston Dispenser

its a very retro and modern pen and best of all its see through - a very 21st century look. Amongst the small classic pen collection this seems to add a missing touch and the TWSBI packaging is simple, modern, very cool and comes across as a modern architect's pen. The ink reservoir is huge compared to some pens with converters and the fact that you can dismantle it to clean it out makes life a bit easy as you don't have to keep sucking ink in and out but the bulk of the ink will still be in the feed so will still require thorough cleaning. The pen itself is chunky and fits the hands well and it writes rather well. its not a very wet pen but bit dry. With a fine nib writing is quite a joy. There is flex in the nib but I don't intend to test this out too much but to just write with it. Overall its a durable piece and one happy purchase

'Cheaper' (if you can say 27£ is cheap) fountain pen that is a very high quality. I would say this is a modern take on a classic design. The transparent barrel and the fact you can take the pen apart to clean means it is a more 'futuristic' fountain pen design. The nib is great and writes smoothly. I have now got 3 of thes pens ( 1 a more expensive one in the TWSBI range). They look great and write very well and also come in a range of nibs.

I just added the white TWSBI Eco to my collection and like it so far. It writes smoothly and comes in an attractive box with a little wrench and a small pot of oil. The only thing I don't like is that you can see ink in the feeder just under the nib which, although normal (you just don't usually see it in other pens), always makes me think the pen is leaking. This for me, spoils the look of the pen. It can't be helped as the feeder is clear, but I'm not keen on it. There are also no markings on the nib to tell you if it's fine, extra fine etc. I have quite a few pens and like to see which nib I'm using. * The nib looks gold in the photo but it is actually silver.

this is an amazing pen - such good quality for the price. It is tricky to fill, not going to lie, but there are some great videos out there if you are not used to a piston mechanism (which I wasn't). I love the fact you can see the ink - I have the Pilot Yu Yake (orange sunset) in it and it looks amazing. It writes beautifully straight away, you don't have to break it in which you do with more expensive brands. Love it.

Really high quality pen, it’s so fun to see the colour of the ink through the barrel. Writes really smoothly. I got F bib and it is perfect for everyday writing. Very happy indeed

Absolute dream to write with - the smoothest fountain pen in my collection. This pen looks modern and tastefull. I would recommend it to anyone. Only issue is people keep mistaking it for a vape!

Huge ink capacity and writes smoothly.

I am an extensive user of fountain pens and decided to buy a new one after I lost my 'everyday' pen at work. I did a lot of research before I bought this and hadn't heard of TWSBI before. Watched some really good reviews and decided to risk this in white with a fine nib. Overall, it's fantastic and possibly the best pen I've ever had. The fact that the ink fills the barrel means that you can get more than you would by using cartridges or a converter. The fine nib is excellent: smooth, flowing and a pleasure to write with. Thoroughly recommended, would happily purchase again.

This is a genuine TWSBI, perfectly packed and delivered on time by the seller. It writes like dream with a buttery smooth nib straight out of the box and a generous not-too-wet flow. Nib is true to size (F) .I'm mesmerized with how the pen looks and feels. It is very substantial and the finish on all parts is commendable. There seems to be a slight misallignment in how the nib is placed into the grip section in the piece I recieved but this doesn't seem to affect performance at all. The piston is smooth and works perfectly.

Ich hatte nach einem Alltagsfüller gesucht der nicht zu teuer ist, wollte aber auch keine zu großen Kompromisse bei Sachen Schreibbild und Tankfüllung machen. Ich habe recht große Hände und musste mich doch an den recht dünnen Griff gewöhnen, ist vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache. Nach einer Weile ging es. Der Stift ist recht Nass, persönlich mag ich es gerne, hat ein sehr gutes Schriftbild, jedoch hatte ich Probleme mit meinem Notizbuch was nicht am Stift lag. Die Linien quollen teilweise stark auf. Seit ich auf ein Midori MD gewechselt habe schreibt es sich sehr angenehm. In Komibnation mit Diamine Oxblood ist der Stift ein richtiger Hingucker! Für Schüler und Studenten auch sehr zu emfehlen, da der Tank doch sehr üppig ist. Werkzeug zum außeinanderbauen des Kolbens ist auch dabei.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Materiali solidi, serbatoio infinito, bel tratto fine, scorre molto bene sulla pagina, ho usato un herbin nero perla, ma consiglio un normale parker, in quanto il pennino è di pregio e alquanto generoso, nonostante il tratto minuto. Difetti: un tantinello brutta, ma aiuta a farla sembrare meno pregevole ad occhi troppo interessati.

I really love this pen. My daily writer previously was a Pilot 78g, and while I still love that pen with a passion it just couldn't hold enough ink to keep up. I got kinda tired of filling it up twice a day when taking class notes. While the Eco has a slightly harder nib than the 78g, it's not as inflexible as a Lamy nib. This F nib is slightly thicker than a Pilot F, but not as wide as a Lamy F- really it's own thing. One thing I'll note is the grip section; I can't pinpoint why, but it feels a bit different somehow than most FP grips. Took me a little to adjust to it, and while I like it now, I imagine it's the sort of thing you either like or very much don't. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this pen though perhaps not as a very first FP.
