Astonishingly good. Read a few online reviews that indicated it was good to OK. I have a firm belief that online reviewers tend to be 12, spotty and living at home with their parents . . It's paired with a Sony tv of some description and plugged into HDMI 1 on the TV. so works seamlessley with the firestick that drives the TV. the integration means that only 1 remote is in use (the firestick) which controls volume. Very occasionally there is a lag in audio, switching it all off and back on again sorts it out. The sound is very, very good indeed (it's a 42" tv in a sitting room so I'm not looking for shake the walls cinema type sound) having said that, cranked it does rattle the ornaments in the room and those adjacent to it. Spoken dialouge onscreen is clear and distinct, there is enough bass that gravitas is given but it absolutely doesn't overwhelm. Astonishingly good for the price. Suitable for 42" screens, under that and it might be visually imposing, if you have a much bigger screen, visually it won't compete but it absolutely will on the audio front. As long as your screen has the right connections, this is an absolute hit. Buy this one.

I needed a small form factor sound bar and this fits the bill perfectly. The sound is brilliant - it fills the room with sound. I love watching films and sport through the tv paired to this. It was so easy to set up and pair. I've also paired my phone to this and stream music when not watching the telly.

Great price for a decent sound bar, very easy to set up, sounds great although there are no functionality whatsoever, what you hear when you plug it in, is what you get. no sound adjustments, only volume up or down. Bass is very nice and a huge upgrade from standard tv speakers.

The bass was really quite poor. Clarity was fine as you'd expect from JBL... but the bass was only 50% better than the TV itself. Not really worth it... so will upgrade to the bar 300 mkII and see if that's significantly better. I wouldn't recommend this sound bar at any price.

My computer monitor does not have built in speakers so I needed speakers that were of reasonable quality and not too expensive. These work perfectly via an optical cable. The bass is a bit more pronounced than I would have liked but vocals are clear. A good buy, I'm pleased at just £98.95 incl delivery.

I got this to replace my old 5.1 system, I did not think it would be anywhere near as good but I did not want to spend a fortune this time around. WOW, once set-up properly this thing delivers. A full sound profile with a "surround sound" that actually immerses you in what you are doing/watching. I have been a long time fan of JBL products and once again they have impressed me. The set-up is easy and the sound quality is superb and the bass can, at times, actually be a little much. I never thought I would say that about a sound bar without a standalone subwoofer. I highly recommed this soundbar.

Soundbar is ok. Glad I paid £99 for it. Its better than TV speakers, but as far as sound bars go it's no better than the cheap bush units from Argos. It's a shame JBL put their name on products like these, I was kinda of expecting more, especially as the cheapest Sonos sound bar is only £50 (£30 when it's not on offer) more but sounds significantly better. Unfortunately it's not something I can recommend. The poor sound of this product also explains why there are no reviews by major outlets for this model, JBL probably keeping it close to their chest. Edit: using the sound EQ on the Amazon music app I got the sound sounding much more suitable. Sadly TV and film are still not adequate. JBL could really do with enabling this to be used in their app so the user can adjust the sound settings for their preference

Wunderbarer Sound. Als notwendige Ergänzung zu einem Sharp Fernseher dessen Tonqualität unterirdisch ist. Die Soundbar hat einen super Sound und satten Bass. Preis Leistung ist fantastisch. Gekauft als Warehouse Produkt mit kleiner Enttäuschung beim Auspacken. Netzkabel und HDMI Kabel fehlten komplett obwohl der Zustand als Sehr gut angegeben wurde. Das sollte normalerweise irgendwo stehen!

Good Bass

For my small front room and cheap television, it provides excellent sound. It was a little tricky to find the menu on the television to change the sound source from the TV speakers to the soundbar, but I got there as it didn't pick it up automatically which more modern TV's might well do. I did a little research online about this soundbar and it was all very positive and for the price, it's an absolute bargain. I highly recommend.
