KONG Refillable Catnip Hedgehog Cat Toy

My cat loves this cute little toy so much. I fill it with a pinch of fresh catnip and give it as an occasional treat. It's easy to wash out with a bit of dish detergent and dries quickly, ready to fill again. My cat chews on it, licks it, tosses it into the air, and holds it while he naps. Great toy that has lasted us about a year so far with plenty of life yet. Wash after each use to keep it hygienically clean and safe for your cat.

Bought for my four year old tabby, who is a big fan of catnip. He loves this toy. He will roll over it and scoop it up in his paws, then try to stuff the entire toy in his mouth - it is so much fun to watch him. In only a few weeks, the toy has become saturated with his dribble and it looks disgusting but he continues to pounce and play with it. I might see if it will go through the washing machine. To reactivate it, simply open the velcro slit and cram more catnip in there. This is very well made and can take a pummelling. The facial features resist being bitten off and so far all stitching is intact. A remarkable toy for such a reasonable price. Have ordered others in this range.

Lovely soft toy with a tube of catnip, great gift.

Nice and fluffy but the supplied catnip doesn't do it for my cat. We have bought "stinkies" in the past and the cat loves them, rolls around all over them but this had little effect. Perhaps the cat nip has passed its best but doesn't do the trick.

It was very fiddly to put the catnip in the toy as the hole was tiny. Product was reasonable quality. Both cats loved the toy and were rolling around loving the toy, pawing it and chasing it. If anything one cat got too excited and when I took the toy away (when he wasn't looking) he then hid behind the chair. Very odd but he reappeared soon after.

Refillable so it always smells of catnip. My cat plays with it a lot, which is surprising as he has lots of different toys and is not interested in them.

The cat loves his little hedgehog. In fact, poor Mr (Kong) Squirrel has been ruthlessly abandoned in favour of Mr Hedgehog. It's fun to see which strange place he'll appear in next. I put all the cat's toys away in his tree house hole at night and by morning, they're strewn around the house! The Kong catnip that comes with these little creatures is excellent quality, far better than anything I've bought in a supermarket/petshop. The refillable nature of the toys means extra fun when you refresh the catnip. Oscar recommends it :-)

Unsere Tinka spielt seit Monaten jeden Tag mit ihrem Igelchen! Den Ersten hatte ich im Laden gekauft - der hier ist nur Reserve. Der Igel wird herumgetragen, hochgeworfen, getreten und gejagt. Er scheint genau die richtige Form und Gewicht zu haben. Er wird hier jedenfalls ausgiebig genutzt und schaut auch nach Monaten noch recht "gut" und heile aus. Außer die FilzNase - die hab ich irgendwann gestutzt, damit sie beim Spiel nicht abgebissen und verschluckt wird.

2nd time purchasing this refillable cat nip hedgehog. My cat is obsessed with it. I put fresh cat nip from our plant in it and he goes wild. After loosing his first one (maybe deep in the couch?) He looked up and down for weeks. The second he saw this one his eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store.

I really like this product! Happy kittens, happy life! My kittens go absolutely crazy over this silly toy. It has a little pouch with velcro in its butt (sorry, I don't know how else to describe it!) where you stuff the catnip in. Once you are done filling with catnip, you velcro seal the little pouch back up. You then toss this baby around and watch the mayhem ensue! The toy seems to be high quality, because they play with it A LOT and there has been no marked discoloration or damage to the product. The fur has not gotten matted or stringy like some other "similar" toys on the market. The worst part of this toy is that you have to refill it a decent amount for the cats to go ape. I am not sure if the catnip "goes stale" or what, but it seems to need re-stuffing every few days. The catnip that came with this product was very high quality. I use it not only in this toy, but on some of my other toys as well. They love it! I love the tube the catnip comes in as well (although it honestly looks a bit like a prescription medicine bottle). ¡Mi gato lo adora! Al principio no le hizo mucho caso, pero cuando menos me di cuenta, ya andaba mordiéndolo por todos lados. Le encanta el tamaño pequeño y la textura de la tela (porque he notado que una dona para el cabello que tengo es de la misma tela y también la agarra). Últimamente le ha gustado que lo lance y él corre a traerlo para que lo lance de nuevo. Lo ama incluso sin catnip.

Se lo compré a mi gato con pocas esperanzas de que le gustara porque es un poco especial para los juguetes y en cuanto lo olió con el catnip dentro se volvió loco, le encanta, se pasa los ratos jugando con el peluche y yo encantada de verle feliz. Lo recomiendo totalmente.
