Bought as replacements and extras for my vacuvin. They fit snug, are reasonably priced and keep my wine tasting fresh for 1 week plus. Easy to use and made of sturdy rubber.

Due to my misunderstanding of how this product is used I was tempted to return as not suitable. The image shows what I mistook to be a built in pump mechanism that could be thumb operated as I had not realised they require the Wine saver pump. Having bought these at an Amazon special price I have decide to keep them and have purchased the pump as well. My review is thus based on the quality of this item (not the pump) and the fact they can, alone, be used as bottle corks. My advice if you have not used these before is to buy the pump first as they come with one or more stoppers and THEN buy these stoppers if you have a habit of opening more than one bottle at a time or worse have a habit of losing things between the bottle and the sink for rinsing/washing of these items.

For the odd occasion when this is actually necessary, they are great, but not used often due to my heavy handed pouring of measures! I would recommend to all! We ended up losing our original stopper that came as part of a kit so we got these. We like our wine and these things are great for preserving a bottle of red for around a week or so. Definitely recommend these to red wine lovers, if you manage not to finish a bottle at the weekend, and don't drink through the week these are invaluable.

These were replacements for the older style corks which had gone missing. The new ones make a better seal and will keep wine vacuumed sealed for a few days. Useful if you don't wish to become an aging lush.
