Excellent Product and Great Value for Money
This product is the best, and easiest, way I’ve found of making delicious cold brew coffee. Just pop 80g of coarse ground (medium or dark roast) coffee into the filter. Add the filter to the jug then pour cold water onto the coffee, filling the jug to about 2cm from the top (I have the 1 litre) Then just leave in the fridge to brew for at least 12 hours. Once ready, remove the filter (it’s so easy to clean) and put your jug of cold brew concentrate back in the fridge. It normally lasts me a few days. Personally I love it mixed with normal milk or chocolate milk and some vanilla syrup for an amazing cold brew latte/mocha. If you like cold brew coffee I would recommend this product over any other I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a few. If you’ve decided to buy one, enjoy!

Perfect for making your iced coffees!
This is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time! I put the ground coffee (Dunkin’s if anyone is interested) in the filter, pour over cold water until it’s just over the bottom of the filter and leave for at least 12 hours. After that I remove the filter and store in the fridge. This makes me one large iced latte for 3-4 days. It’s easy to clean, fits into the fridge door nicely and saves me loads of time.

Nice and does the job
What I like about this product. Easy to use The filter is easy to clean Easy to empty Holds a decent volume of concentrated coffee, since I am the only one who drinks it, it lasts about five days as I do not like to add too much since the max you should have is about 4 cups of coffee a day. What I dislike about the product The jug is not easy to clean, as it is narrow. Although if you have a bristled brush it should be fine. The glass jug looks pretty fin, so I am not sure how long it will last. See the update part of my review for more info. Even though the filter is easy to clean after a while it got to the point where it was permanently stained. I'm not sure why there is a flavor rating. Since there are loads of things that can affect the flavor of the coffee. For example, the balance of minerals in the water you use, how the temperature of your fridge, or if you decide to brew it at room temp, how fine or coarse the coffee is, the brand you use, and the type of roast you use for your coffee. The list is endless! So I would ignore that metric on a purchase like this. Update: After 1 year and a half, mine has developed a crack on the top. To be fair I have been using this every week since the day I got it, so having to resort to buying a new one but not the exact one. It is still usable but who knows when the crack propagates rendering it useless. If you decide to get this, I find it is better to feel the jug with water first then place the filter in then the coffee. It saves waiting for all the water to drain from the filter into the jug.

Cold brew is the new espresso
After making cold brew with my French press I decided to try this from Hario. Nothing wrong with using the press but leaves quite a bit of sediment so I thought this will do better. Simple design and like all Hario products it looks good and minimalist. Using it is easy. I fill the filter with 100 grams of medium ground coffee and add 1 litre of cold water. I pour the water through the coffee to make sure it is fully saturated and use a long spoon handle to mix it. The rest of the water can be poured in through the spout to speed up the process. The only downside of this jug is that you have to make 1 litre coffee all the time because the grounds are suspended from the top and the bottom is in line with the 800 line. This is not a problem for me as I can drink it in two days. The jug will fit in the fridge door but I rather use a cheap glass bottle and keep this safe. Cool piece of kit for the cold brew lover.

Definitely get the 1l version for daily coffee
The 1l capacity version of this is perfect for a sizable glass of coffee every morning as I finish the batch by the time the coffee starts to turn. Cold brew also produces less tannins which results in a sweeter tasting coffee that is much more to my preference. The bottle is well made and I've been using mine for almost a year now and it's yet to let me down. As it's all quality plastic and glass it is very easy to clean down and doesn't seem to 'trap' the coffee smell which keeps it feeling fresher

Epic quality iced coffee with minimal effort, straight from your own fridge.
Simple to use, easy to clean. Shop bought iced coffees will never taste as good again. Put ground coffee in the filter and slowly fill it up with cold water ( weights are in the supplied instructions, I put the whole thing on a scale so I can be accurate about it, but I don't get out much). Give the coffee a whisk with a chopstick (not supplied) and pop it in the fridge. The next day, remove the filter, and marvel at the strong, smooth, tasty coffee you have made. The end of the filter unscrews so it is easy to get rid of the used coffee grounds... you can dishwash the filter ( top rack, eco/ low temp wash). The glass jug is also dishwashable ( just take care that it doesn't fall over when you are loading/unloading the dishwasher). The only hard part is choosing which coffee blend is your favourite: Taylor's 'Easy Sunday' is super reliable and widely available, Percol are worth trying too. Yes, the 'artisan' coffees are great, but these simple machines make even supermarket blends taste really good (M&S Colombian Beans is another one worth a go). I use one of these for iced coffee and a Clever Dripper for hot coffee - both make coffee which is genuinely amazing.

Just what was missing from my life
Great item, can’t fault it! I have a sage Precision brewer and It has a setting for cold brew, but it restricts me to 400ml only. I have a couple of Hario products so I was draw to this. It arrived yesterday and I set about making cold brew instantly. I loaded the filter and poured in the coffee and left it was 16hrs. This morning I was welcomed to a delicious 1litre of refreshing cold brew coffee. This product is marvellous and would recommend it. I bought the brown version with was cheaper in price as I couldn’t justify the extra expensive for a brighter colour! This product works wonders and straight out the box!
