Royal & Langnickel SG-304 5 Piece Flat Brush Set

I purchased these to get back into painting and have been thoroughly impressed so far. They are nicely weighted and have a soft grip which is made from a texture that is less likely to slip through your grip when you are doing the finer detail! The grip is very important as they feel very comfortable in the hand and inspire confidence in your control. It is a good selection covering a range of sizes suited to small to large canvases. The brushes hold and deliver paint to the canvas very nicely and they are made of good quality bristles for the money. The brushes did not lose any bristles on the peice I was painting - this can be very annoying! Good quality brushes should not do this so pleased with this set. Good set, great value and good qualtiy.

I used to paint a lot when I was in college and spend a lot of money on paint brushes. I've recently gone back to painting again and needed new ones. ordered these and can't believe how good the are. I will defo carry on buying these from now on. Easy to hold, sort bristles and the price is really reasonable.

I bought these to spare my good brushes when doing sketchbook work and research paintings , only to be surprised at how good they are !!! Excellent in fact , not one hair shed and clean so well after use . I use them all the time now and intend to buy another set . Good size selection and very nice to hold . Was not expecting this quality for the price . I don’t know how long they will last , but for the price they are worth buying to have on hand . Highly recommend .

A really good value set of acrylic brushes that were recommended by the art teacher on my course. I have bought quite a few sets now, as I paint on wood panels and they stand up to the paint well but can get a bit split due to the rougher wood texture. I use a paint soap to clean them after painting and they come out clean. Easy to hold and comfortable. A good variety of brush sizes too. Would definitely recommend testing them out.

I have been using these brushes for years, and they are consistently excellent quality. I use them with several different mediums, including oil paints, and they perform beautifully every time. One of the most impressive things is how well they hold their form; the hair doesn't stray or lose its shape even after heavy use. Definitely buy these Flat brushes if you are going to be doing any medium/small scale and intricate murals using Acrylic paints/glaze, or for watercolour painting. The photo and description doesn't really do any justice so I would recommend seller advertising full product photo and fuller description for customers. The 5-pack (#SG304/SG-Flat 5) includes: 3/4inch (18mm) wide (SG700 Wash) No12. 1/2" (13mm) wide Flat No10. 1/4" (8mm) wide Flat No8. (6mm) wide Flat No4. (5mm) wide Flat (There doesn't appear by reading the sizes of the No4,8 & 10 to be much difference but I can assure you there is). Very light to hold, clear flexible plastic shaft and comfortable ergonomical Softgrip for holding during painting. The packaging you probably won't use to restow brushes (you can if you wish to), however it clearly states the brush sizes (in art sizing speech not millimetres). Highly recommend you buying.
